It calls and says its investigating you.

contacted me on Friday, september 12 at 5:30 pm and left a message.  They said they were  agent black  with a case # that started with an x  and they were the investigation dept and wanted to find out my side of story.    They did not identify a company and was hard to understand him.
The number came through with area code 505 234 7699 and then he left a number 678-456-3121

Had message on my ans machine, Friday, Sept 12 with same message from agent Black as listed above.  No idea what my side of story is supposed to be.

I recieved the same message today. Said they wanted my side of the story.  They called my work cell number not my personal cell.

Calling misrepresenting themselves as law enforcement stating there is a case.

Received message today from Agent Taylor, giving a case number and asked me to call back 678-456-3121 to give my side of the story.  Ridiculous!  Scam, scam, scam...do not call these numbers back and if you do, don't give them any information, especially any money.  Call and report them to the FCC.

yes, they have been trying to wrangle me for a debt that has been paid off with phony will  send server and they dont update my address or validate I have paid the debt off via another company.
They dont Identify their company on the call either,,  in fact the latest is a text on how I want the papers served at home or at work etc,,,

called me left message stating I was being taken to court for fraud charges due to borrowing money from a lender and never paying it back as agreed. the woman on the phone would not give me the business's physical address stated they would not take money orders or check that it had to be paid thru a credit card or debit card and that they could not send me billing statements verifying my debt... I asked them for information on there business she would not give that to me either. says they will start court proceedings against me if I do not pay them five hundred dollars . is this a scam or what.? I received a call prior to this about the same thing they said exactly the same thing except they told me I owed then 800.00 different number and location. When I asked the second lady about this she denied the wole thing stated no one from there called me must be a different collector

Looks like a total scam.   If they have a valid debt, demand a debt validation letter be sent to you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  They don't do this, then they aren't entitled to any money.  Any debt collector that will not give you any information is most likely a scammer.   Don't talk to them, don't give them any information.  Block their calls.  DO NOT SEND THEM ANY MONEY OR AGREE TO!  

Fraudulent or Zombie Debt Collectors—Things to Know

If you have received a call stating:

1. You have defrauded a financial institution
2. You owe an unpaid payday loan
3. You have a warrant due to an unpaid loan
5. You will receive a court summons
6.  Authorities are coming to arrest you
7.  Anything similar to above,
 a.   Do not give them any information or verify any information for them
 b.   Tell them you know they are a scam operating illegally and that you are   filing a complaint with the  appropriate authorities
Call blocker is your best bet.  
* File a complaint with the FBI on their Internet Crime webpage     http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx
* File a complaint with the Attorney General for the state you live in

The more information and complaints there are, the better the chance of getting these criminals to stop (or at least reduce the frequency).    

They continue to bother  you, tell them you are going to the police to make a complaint of extortion.

Don't take any nonsense from them, they are just trying to scare you into paying them something.

Total scam.   Legitimate process severs do not tell you in advance when or where they are going to serve you.  Ignore them.  They continue to bother you, tell 'em you'll make a complaint of extortion with the local police.

Received a call from 859-993-0335 out of Covington, KY.  I did not answer the call.  The voicemail was from an agent Tiffany McFarland who needed me to return a call to her immediately regarding case # c0-14...... states that it is so that she can document my side.  The callback number was 678-456-3121.  
Mind you if this was legit I would not be getting called at 8:52pm.  Also, the call would have been from the same number or at least the same area code as the call back number.  

I received a call from Agent Wanda Black claiming I need to call back with my side of the story. Call id was from Boston, MA but the call back number 678-456-3121.

Just received a call from a local number let it go to voicemail the woman left a message saying she was an investigator (did not say with what company) said she needed to get my side of story regarding case #Az 14-****** call back number was 678-456-3121. Makes no sense that it came thru my caller id from a local number but has to call a long distance one to contact them. SCAM

Same happen to me here in D.C. today around 1:40pm.
No doubt its some sort of scam....so there is no way I'm calling the number they left.
Plus, I don't owe any money...no debts at all!

Agent Jenkins wants my side of the story. 803 area code but the 678 number was his return number

I have received a call from 678-456-3121 and receive the same conversation they are calling because I was fraudulent on a loan about a month ago and they could not give me there name and they have called me last week and today. Thank you for the heads up I am going to report them to DCP and go in on the link for the FBI. the call I received they caught me at a vunerable time and the got $750 from me. Smh. I'm pissed!
