Collection Agency keeps leaving messages on my phone for someone else.

Gelfand Ross called three times, looking for an individual that is not at this number.  He accused me of lying about who I was.  I told him not to call back, or I would file a complaint with the FCC.

Person claiming to be from "attorney Gibbs" office calling my private cell number, which is not listed.  Wonder how they got that number?????

same thing, will not stop calling and harrassing me on my private cell phone. looking for someone else but refuse to stop the calls when repeatedly told the person they are looking for no longer has this number.

This morning this person called again, looking for a person not here.  Called me a liar again.  How stupid are these people?  

Do I have a right to sue for harassment? Can we all get together and sue? He's been told not to call, and still keeps calling.

Nov5, Nov 19, Nov 21  They continue to call.  Today I spoke with a supervisor (Mr Cruz) and advised him to remove the phone number form the list.  Further, I advised him I would bill Gelfand Ross $175.00 every time he called.

He said I could not.  Yes I can, and I will if they do.  If they do not pay I will take them to court for my money, and for wasting my time.

They keep calling me too. I won't answer. Don't have any business with these people.

I get calls from this number too.  I have had them call 10 times one right after another.  I finally put the number in my phone and stored it as Telemarketer and I don't answer any call that comes up that way.

Has anyone had any luck in getting them to back off???

I got them off my back as stated above.  I spoke with a supervisor, and I recorded my message that I would bill them 175 USD every time they called.

This outfit buys "old debt," and tries to bully people who are no longer responsible for said debt into paying it.  Some of this debt has been paid, and some has be discharged due to bankruptcy filings.  In any event, no one is legally obligated to pay anything to this outfit.

I received two calls from this number today; the first time the caller hung up before I could get to the phone.  The second time a man asked for "John Williams".  I told him he had the wrong number and he hung up.

The called my wife's cellphone this morning asking for someone else who's name sounded asian. Dont know how hey got my wife's number, she has had her cellphone for close to 2 years. Called them back and said it wasn't us.

Ross Gelfand law firm.  They bullied me into paying for some debt from ten years ago, then they started harassing me.  Spoke to Mari Hunt and she started threatening me with litigation.  I went to debtcalls.com and stopped the harassment.  They call on average six times a day, every day.
