Telling me that there is a "neighborhood crime watch" and "not a scam call"

Call says it's from Conyers, GA but no message.

No information on callback besides automated instructions on how to be removed from their list.  

No response on the end of the call.

Did not answer, they did not leave a message

They never leave a message. States on caller ID that they are from Conyers. Ga.

Said it was not a sales call and that my number had been recommended by a friend of mine.  Only my family has this number and they know not to give it out.  Hung up as soon as I threatened to call the police so did not get a company name.

"The FBI reports ..." I get this call 4 times a month from different numbers.  I finally pressed 9 to opt out.  We'll see if it actually works.

Our answering machine received the call.  Incomplete message about "....pressing 1 and 9....".

I called them back and the automated machine said to press any digit to be removed from the calling list and that it would take 24-48 hours to happen. I pressed a number but it didn't work, this same number called back 2 weeks later.

Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

The recording tells you to press any number to have the number removed.  I hang up without responding.  I figure any response would prompt them to call again.  Also, there are scams that will prompt you to press a number during the call. You may wind up paying for a third party long distance international call.

It was an automated call. There as no one on the other end to hang up on you.

DO NOT ANSWER THIS NUMBER. If they realize they got a valid number, they will increase the number of calls from multiple phone numbers, and they will call 30 times per day. They are absolutely awful.

Call says it's from Conyers, GA and a garbled message saying a friend referred me for a free computer.  Hung up and blocked scam number.

They left no VM.  Caller id - CUSTOMER SRV

Cold-Call to a corporation cell phone.  Automated intro, apparently "A Friend Recommended free Cell Phone" or something.

Given that said number is somehow in FaceBook for some random who-knows-who, and is forwarding text messages from FaceBook, this company is probably scraping numbers from that system hoping to scam people.

Call from this number to a government owned blackberry in D.C. Calls from unknown sources are not answered for the very reasons given by others who have commented on this number.
