Just another not understandable Spanish call

Some woman fronting for some re-fi group.  She promises mortgage rates that once you are connected to the actual mortgage broker, you find they can't deliver on the rates she mentions.  It's a scam to get you to talk to the broker.  You answer once and then they call ALL the time.

I received a call last night, this # 678-500-2021 showed on caller i.d. ,when called back a recording said it had been disconnected or was no longer in service.No messages were left to me. I also live in Geprgia so this should be a local #.

I live in Georgia, coincidentially like the previous person that posted.

Yesterday I got a call from some computer in California, according to the phone number in my I.D.  Then today I get the same computerized message, only now the number is 678 area code.  The computer gave the same blah blah about lowering my interest rates, but if I push "2" that my name would be removed from their list.  Well, I had done that yesterday, yet today I still received a call.  Who the hell are these people?  Did anyone find out the company name so we can report them to the Feds?  I registered with the "Do-not-call" list, so these jack-as*es are going to get reported as soon as someone can identify them.

I just got a call from this number, around 1pm. I didn't answer and no message was left. When I tried to call the number, the call "failed". I am also in the Atlanta Ga area, and 678 is the same prefix as my own number.

This precisely why I quit answering calls from any unknown sources.

I just received a call from this number on caller id and it was an expected call from a code compliance office in Vancouver, BC ...

Yeah A SPANISH GUY CALLED MY HOUSE.IT WAS BAD SPANISH AND SAID HE WAS FROM DIRECT TV.

Ok Tonight I got a call from this Number.  678-500-2021  when I picked up it was my girlfriend on the other end. It would sound normal enough if my girlfriend didn't live in Canada to whom I just talk to 30mins before. from a 416 area code. Now what I think this could be some kind of Police tap where they are randomly routing real incoming calls away from your phones to there # 678-500-2021 back over to your phones. All this is done to test a new phone tapping system that may make thing easy on them in the long run. So now @ some point the steps in there fild work can be cut more then in half in some cases. So if your Mother is calling you and your # is 770-555-5555 that call will be sent to 678-500-2021 then over to your # 404-222-2212 there's a loop hole because their # 678-500-2120 shows and I don't think they really meant for that to happen. Any how if you don't pick up it can't make the link. Most of us have already picked up the phone from these unknown calls and guess what your calls may have been recorded!!!!!!! Be carful people want it or not Big Brother is here!!!! This very Comments blog could be a site just for them to see if and how it's working.

These a-holes called me yesterday around 2:30 p.m. I did'nt answer but when i tried to call back i got the same "disconnected message". Someone has to much time on there hands. Gainesville, Ga.

I received a call from this same number, 678-500-2021. The caller has male voice, and identied himself as Samuel Okafor. He has non-American accent. The name sounds Nigerian. I Believe this is a call from a Nigerian "419" scammer. Is there any way to smoke this scammers out of their holes?

I got a call today from 1-678-227-3509. I don't know this # at all, and when I try calling back the call go to a voicemail. Tried calling a couple times and always just voicemail. Can U tell Me if possible where this # is.Thank U.
