I receive calls from a "Mr. Lee" at 678-600-8457 constantly.  He always states it is in regards to a fraud issue with my social security number.  He also leaves a file/reference number.  
DO NOT BE FOOLED - THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT LEGITIMATE!!  NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY, DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!!
If you do call them back and get someone on the phone, tell them you are recording the call, then you do the questioning of them - get all details you can and inform them you are reporting them for identity theft to The Federal Trade Commission.  Trust me - they will either hang up, scream obscenities at you, and/or quit calling.

This is who they are!!! JUST FYI! It involves Pay Day Loans....no good.. I have dealt with them also. not a scam..but scum...

They have 2 names as far as I know,

Delanor, Kemper and Associates LLC
and
National Credit Adjusters

This individual by the name of Delanore Hawthorne is a collection agency claiming to be a law firm.

The law firm Hawthorne kempner and assocociates are not found on the internet.

This individual was rude over the phone and I called her back numerous times to get her information.

Please do not tolerate this type of behavior

I get a call at least once or twice a day, The tell me there is a claim stateing that my social security number is being used in fraudulent activity and if I don't call back to resolve the issue they will rule against me regarding this claim. The caller is Ms Hawthorne and she is representing a law firm. I refused to give any personal information.

This is all about Pay Day Loans. They call for employees here and are very rude and try to make you think that it is some sort of legal action and the party needs to contact them as soon as possible.

I take the information down then throw the message in the trash....  uggh

After reading all the remarks from this phone number....I am the same, they have called me 5 times today & left 2 messages stating that there is a claim against me for my ss # & its very important. My boyfriend is going through debt fraud too.....so I'm not a sucker & I'm not convinced. I will block there #

I just received my first call tonight from this lady Miss Hawthorne.  She called my cell and since I didn't recognize the number and had just gotten home from work, I didn't answer the call.  I just checked my work voice mail and sure enough, there was a message there from her too.  I listened to her messages, and as soon as she started saying that there was a important matter filed against my social security number in the county where I live (she actually said the name of my county), and that I needed to call her back within 24 hours, I started to worry first.  Then I got super annoyed because I figured out that this lady is just like all of those hard to understand foreigners who used to bombard me with calls at work and on my cell.  All of them followed the same script as this Hawthorne lady.  They were nasty and threatening too and after reading previous comments, I got the feeling that this lady will be no different.  I'm almost positive that these calls DO pertain to payday loans.  Whether you are delinquent or applying for one over the internet, be informed of this scam because one day, you may get one of these bogus calls!  Any LEGITIMATE collection company is required to send you a notice regarding the debt and IT IS YOUR RIGHT to demand it.  And NO, e-mail is not acceptable!  In my opinion it isn't.  If they refuse to provide you written notice, or refuse to answer any of YOUR questions, then, there's the red flag.  

EVERYONE:  Please know that the FBI has posted an alert on their website www.fbi.gov, regarding delinquent payday loan scams.  It is happening all too frequent nowadays. It's very unfortunate that those who genuinely need to use a payday loan for whatever reason, like myself, are unwillingly making themselves targets for these individuals to gain power over you with their legal lingo and scare tactics.  They are sooo not worth your peace of mind and sanity.  Above all, if you feel your safety is being threatened, consult your local authorities.  Thanks and take care.
