AThis number will drive you crazy.  This number states its from Altanta NE (North East) Georgia. They are A-Rabs behind the number calling you.  This darn number is so annoying that they have it programed to call you so so early in the morning and on the darn weekends. When you pick up no one is there because it's a freakin recording.  So I gave back a taste of my medicine.  At night...Someone will pick up just allow the prompts to go through then wait. Someone will pickup. Of course they ask for a protectular name which was in our household.  I called and told them that its against the law to harass anyone for ANY reason. That I hope you are recording this and to stop calling my house and to take the programed recorder off. They asked me if this is my home phone number and I said yes, STOP CALLING ME! Then I hung up on them.  I am guessing that this number is from and about a Christian Cruise Line. I sent out for litature from Altantic Ga, they sent it to us and they haven't stopped callling since.  It's absolutely non-stop off the wall big time. The recording when you call acts as if you are behind on a bill. As if they are a bill collector.  But they are a telemarketer wanting you to buy the cruise.  They are unbelieveable.  SO DO NOT GO FOR IT! I dialed *60 and blocked the number.  The only way this works is if they are the last number that called you. Ps there is a toll free 800 number that calls right behind it if you don't answer the 678 number.  Good luck to those that are getting harassed.  Couldn't understand them if I wanted. They have no clue they are in America. NO SPEAK ENGLISH

I spent the weekend relaxing with my wife; people email me if it's a big deal. I recieved 8 calls after two days when I looked at my phone Sunday night wow...had to google it. hope it stops soon.

Same thing for me.  It started with another number and I finally threatened them with a lawsuit and then it changed over to another number to harrass me from.  I don't thing its ever going to end.  I wish there was a way to block people from calling your cell phone! ugh!

Me, too---a ton of calls from this number, never any message left. When I tried to call it, I got a recording saying, "Please say or enter your account number now. " When I entered nothing (since I have NO IDEA why I am receiving these stupid calls), the recording asked for my account # again, and continued with, "In order to help you, we need to know your identity, please enter your account number now."
Terribly annoying, these calls.

SINCE I DIDNT ANSWER WHEN THEY CALLED ON 330-443-5996, THEY STARTED ON THIS NEW NUMBER, ON MY CELL, WHEN WILL IT EVER END!!!! ITS VERY ANNOYING, I HAVE TO TURN MY CELL OFF AT NIGHT, BECAUSE I GET CALLS, RIGHT NOW THE 330 NUMBER HAS CALLED ME 7 TIMES AND THIS NUMBER IS ALREADY AT 2 AT ITS BARELY 10:30 AM
WILL SOME BODY PLEASE DO SOMETHING WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls and either hangs up or does not leave a message. I'm getting so dang frustrated. They drove me crazy over the weekend!!

This is Ge Money who runs retail credit cards mainly LOWE'S.  They called me 15 times in one day before I found out who they were and what they wanted.

When I started getting these calls I put there number on a silent ring tone. They can call all day and I don't care and don't answer it because I don't hear it ring. I have know idea who they are and don't care to know.

The people say they are from GE Money Bank doing collection calls for Lowes.  Sorry to say we HAVE no Lowe's account nor any credit cards ( learned our lesson a long time ago with those) it is 9:21 am and they have already called me 5 times.  It started at 8:11 am this morning.  I am getting so tired of these people.

Well I guess I'm on the same list, however the cell phone I have is a Federal Govt issued phone...

I told them 3 times -very politely- that I was not the "Rod Seborn" they were looking for, and that they had reached a U.S. Federal Govt. issued telephone device, I requested to speak directly to a supervisor and again explained that I was not the party they were trying to reach and that I had explained that previously.

Of course I was assured that my number would "Be removed and blocked"

I received another 3 calls today.

I called the number back and went frontal- I asked for the name and 'operator number' of the person on the other side (I believe its a call center in India) they give you English names, like 'Tim', or the last one I spoke to was "James" I then immediately asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold and finally another person came on the line.

Their script tells them to immediately ask for your name- NEVER give them your name or much less your SS#- I mean if you actually owe Lowes or G.E. Money Bank money, then you should just take care of that, but reading all these posts that obviously isn't the case-

When the alleged 'supervisor' came on (I saw 'Boiler Room' I know how that stuff works haha) I was direct with her as well-

"Linda" Supervisor: "This is the floor supervisor may I get your name please"

Me: No, you may not- but can I have your name again and your operator number?

....long pause

Linda: umm I am not authorized to give you that I...

Me: That's fine, I just need a way to identify you other than a first name, there is a whole world of 'Linda's' out there,...Let me advise you that I have been receiving a call from this number for three weeks now looking for someone named "Rod"- There is no Rod here, I am not Rod and I do not owe Lowes or GE Money Bank any money nor do I have an account with your organization.

What I do have is a US Federal Govt. issued telephone device. And your organization has been calling this number for three weeks. I have politely advised the previous supervisors of this fact and also that if I received ONE MORE call from this organization that the matter would be referred to the investigators, because this is a very serious matter. Do you understand the impact of what I am telling you?

Linda: Can I have the number that we have been calling?

Me: Certainly, ***-***-****

Linda: I will make sure this number is blocked and we will not call again.

Me: That's fine, however I have heard that before, as a matter of fact twice from two other 'supervisors' just today...and yet the calls continue. I let the last person know that should I receive one more call on this phone I would be referring the matter to the investigative staff and DHS, and that is where we are at right now, so I can understand that you do not want to provide your real name or an identifying number. Please either transfer me to your supervisor, or better yet, please provide me the location and telephone number to the office in the US, I know that you are calling from outside the United States- Please transfer me there.

Linda: Please hold on the line Sir.

-Pause, hold music, background DTMF tones switching the call back to the 'real United States'

A lady picks up: "Hello, my name is Tanya, May I have your name and social security number please?"

Me: No, you may not, but did you say your name was Tanya? I will need your full name and operator number please...

Tanya: Ummm I am not a supervisor, would you like to speak to a supervisor?

ME: Yes, thank you I would

Tanya was obviously an American, but I could not detect any accent giving an area away...

Supervisor in US: Hello this is Richard, I am a supervisor, may I help you?

Me: Yes you can...I hope. But first, can I get your full name and or an operator number to identify you by?

US Supervisor: Pause... My name is Raymond, I cannot give you my last name.

Me: I understand, is there and operator number that identifies you?

Raymond: Yes, it is "DDX"

Me: Great- let me tell you where we are at Raymond DDX- I have been getting a call form your organization for three weeks now looking for an individual named Rod- Let me assure you I am not Rod, I do not have a Lowes or GE Money Bank or whatever your organization is account nor do I owe these businesses any money. What I can tell you, and what I have politely explained to now three separate 'supervisors' is this.

This is a US Federal Government telephone. This phone is issued and tracked by the US Government. Calls made from this phone and to this phone are logged and tracked. Do you understand what I am saying?

Raymond: umm yes sir..

Me: Great- I have told this to as I said, three separate individuals in your organization, yet the calls continue- I advised the last person that the next call that I received this matter would be referred up the chain, so that is where we are at right now. So again, Can I get any further information about you to provide to the investigators? Because although its Saturday right now, be assured that they will be calling sometime next week if past experience is any guide. I will also need a physical location and land-line phone mumber for where you are at right now....

Raymond: I'm in Canton Ohio, the call back number is 866-437-2914

Me: Great, thank you, listen, I know your going to say something like 'I will make sure this number is blocked' and all that, but I have heard all that before and honestly, it's out of my hands now- I would expect to receive contact from someone next week- And that is 'Raymond DDX' correct? they will be able to identify you by that yes?

Raymond: uhh yes they will...

Me: Great, thanks Raymond.
