LG - 12 Apr 2008I also am getting calls from this #. It is JC Penney and they use different #'s so on the caller ID different states show up. OHIO and now GEORGIA. Do they think we're stupid??? They do not leave any messages either. I have gotten to the point where I turn my ringer off of the phone. If they call people 15-20 times a day, how much does it cost for the phone call? Maybe they should put the money it costs to make the phone call towards the money they are trying to collect. Bad Collection Practices on their part!

b - 2 Jul 2008Received 3-4 calls per day plus 3-4 voicemails on my cell noting that I owe minimum payments. First, I've NEVER had a JC Penney card and I don't appreciate having to call them and pay for the call because they leave no 800 number!!! When I answer the phone, I don't get a live person but the call automatically goes to voicemail. So, I'm ticked....but finally am glad to learn I'm not alone.
