National Asset Management, they keep calling us looking for someone not in our house.

Thery call and I don't answer because I don't recognize the number they don't leave any message on the answering machine they just hang up. That is a red flag to me if they had any real buisness with me when they call they would leave a message or maybe there are scared I won't be who they are looking for. I can't stant there calls though they call all the time as if I am going to answer for these frauds.

National Asset Management, called about collecting an $806.00 bill for medical services from 2002.  Claimed to be trying to collect for their client, when asked who their client they refused to name said client. Very rude and demanding, nothing more then a group of bottom feeders in the collections indusrtry. Companys like this should either obey the laws of the Fair Debt Collections Act, or when caught doing wrong to consumers, fined by the FederalReade Commision, and put out of buissnes!

I have been getting numerous calls from National Asset (678-578-1800). They never leave a message but call four times within the day. Very irritating.

THese ffools have been calling so much I want to just change my cell number but I have resumes out and can't exactly change inthe midst of my job search.

How can we stop them...can't we sue for calling our cell phone?

Called my cell phone, no one on the other end.  Tried to return call and there was no operator to answer!!

Tried number posted on company web site and it was no longer in service.

How does a business like this stay operating with a positive cash flow??

Received a call.  Caller ID:  (678) 578-1800, National Asset.
They said they were with National Asset Recovery.  They asked for me, but said it was concerning my husband.  When I asked to take a message they said that by federal law they needed to know who they were leaving the message with.  It felt like a scam.

Update: Actually spoke to a person

Called back on 678-578-1800, got a person that identified herself as Cheryl Simmons at extension 1921.  She also gave me 877-604-1800 ext 1921 as her contact number.  Called 877-604-1800 and it was an invalid number.

Asked why I received a call with no message. Attempted to find my number, placed me on hold for several minutes, asked for my name (again), place back on hold and somehow my call was transferred to Trauner Cohen & Thomas LLP. They could not find my name or number in their system and transferred me back to Cheryl at National Asset Recovery.  She still could not find me in their system.  She said she would call me back when she found my information.

Its prob Capital One. Trauner Cohen & Thomas LLP are their collection lawyers and SUED my friend while she was in the hospital.  She was never served and some guy swore under oath that she was so a default judgement was placed on the case.  All the while she had no idea that this was going on until being notified of the default.  Hasn't heard anything from them since.  She even calls them from time to time and leaves voive mails, but nothing This has baffled every lawyer she's talked to.  What a joke.  They call me too.  If they want me they can put in writing and certify mail.

Got a call from this number.  An automated message said it was regarding collection of a debt and to call them back at 800-970-3393.  After researching, my guess is that it is likely National Asset Recovery.  I called the number and all it does is ring forever.  I still have no idea what this is about.

They called 5 times all at 8 am local which is WAY illegal!!!

They called me from the local number, when I answered I got an automated recording saying they were the law offices of (sthg) BUT NOT NATL ASSET MNGMT. As I knew of no outstanding debts, I called back to the 800 number given me. 800-416-8748 when I called I got a lady who asked if I had gotten a letter in the mail, I didn't, so she asked what number they called  on, I told her, she said it didn't come up "What is your SSN?" MY ANSWER "I don't give out my SSN" she quickly got me off the line. NEVER EVER EVER give your SSN number out in this situation!!!!!

This #, 678-578-1800, called my house looking for my 4 yr old grandson.Said in a very rude voice " you need to return this call" What a joke. ext 1917

I get a call from a lady recarding a bank account she is very rude, When she ask if I can settle for half I tell her No, and she threathen me with taing me court, She will call and call, and if I tell her no a few times she will wait 3 to 4 months and call me again from a different numbe, I just feel is she could talk to me in a good manner I will listen other then that she can go to hell....

the person was very nasty attitude .unpolite even sounded uneducated .i called back and another lady said it was her cell number.

This company calls at all times of the day looking for my father saying that he has won a huge prize but needs to send 400 dollars to receive it. It is total BS. We have gone to the local police and FBI and they do nothing at all. We have cursed them out on so many occations. We have told them to get a real hard working honest job before and they get really pissed. It has gotten to the point were we just mess with them untill they hang up.

we've been getting annoying calls f/ Nat'l Asset Recovery Services for months now.  They keep asking for someone named (sounds like) Foilan Plafala..... I kept going thru the process and selecting option 2 - that we are not this person.... and they continued to call.  Finally, today I went thru the process to say we are this person, so that I could get their identity.  The phone number was identified as National Asset Recovery Services at 866-234-6833.  I spoke to someone named Wayne and he said he will delet my number.  So, we'll see.  I told him that what they are doing is NOT leagal in NC, b/c it's harrassment and we don't know who they are asking for and we ARE NOT THEM!
