Contract Awards Services - they offer to help land GSA contracts.  Online, the standard cost for this seems to about $7500.

The caller claimed the company has been in business for a handful of years.  The domain name, contractawardservices.com, however, was only registered last year.

Got contacted by them as well.  They start the call as "this is regarding a 5 year GSA contract", and while I was talking with the person for about 15 minutes, it turns out that you're paying them $7500 for essentially walking you through the GSA web site and filling out the forms.  They have a "guarantee" which is basically that you'll get $5000 of sales over 5 years, so assuming a 10% profit margin, you could to be out $6750 for the privilege.  The part that seems very deceptive to me is it sounds like they are looking to fill a contract, but are really just doing some of the paperwork to get you on the GSA schedule, which assuming you want to go through that rat-race, you can do on your own.

I did ask about why their domain is only a year old, yet they claim they've been in business for 19 years.  And after being on hold for a couple of minutes, I was hung up on.

I didn't answer because I didn't recognize the number.

But the voice mail they left me was similar to the "5 year contract" spiel they gave Bob.
