This is the new wave of scam artist companies, please don't give them any information or call them back. This number is a middle man number for companies who go around buying old debt information from various agencies.  Keep in mind these debts they are calling on have been settled and they are trying to make a quick buck on you to see if you will pay it again.  All you have to do is ask them there physical address, they will give you a PO BOX and say they can't give that information out. Tell them you need the physical address for your attorney, so they can send paper work to file charges against them for harassment. IF they are a real organization trying to collect a real debt then legally they have to send information to you in the mail! Don't feel threatened these people are the lowest form of life.

Voice recording claiming there will be a lawsuit filed against me unless I willfully pay this debt. They never state the company name or any company info

This company claims to be a lawyer filling a lawsuit. Will not give me any info. I reported them to my state atty general office.

1. Claiming to be an attorney of they are not - illegal.
2. Refusing to give company information - illegal.
3. Making threats (lawsuit) - illegal - per the FDCPA.

Received phone call from 678-661-5467.  A very hateful woman got verbally abusive and repeatedly called me a liar when I said I did not owe anyone any money.

I received several called from this number.  They stated they were a lawyer filing a suit against me and that I needed to contact them if I wanted to include a personal statement.  I then searched the number leading me here.  Such a scam!

How do you report them? I keep getting calls and they keep giving me threats.

1. Report them to your state attorney general's office.
2. Next time they call, tell them you want a WRITTEN documentation of the "debt" MAILED to you showing their company name  and address, original creditor, dates, amounts, etc.  They then have 5 days to comply.  Of course, do not expect anything except excuses and (illegal) threats. Why won't you get anything?  That would lead a paper trail to them as well as possibly being mail fraud.   Nothing  mailed - in writing = nothing.  Phone calls, emails, faxes & texts are NOT official notification (no matter what the caller tells you) - and you are not warned if a summons s coming.  They may also threaten jail - ILLEGAL & will not happen even if you did owe money,

It is also ILLEGAL to claim to be an attorney of they are not.   A real attorney would know you are not warned if a summons is coming.

I called them back 20 times in 5 min. each time someone new and kept hanging up on ME! lmao. I asked them stop and take my phone number off. They said they cant do that until I pay my debt and they got a job to do. I told them get a real job and learn English because they are not understanding this phone number is not who they are looking for. they looking for someone name Karen something. and my name is Sara. HELLO not even close you dumb a$$. and they did not like me calling back and saying that they cant see my number but yet I had same person first 3 times and she like maam I told you I cant help you etc each time she knew who it was they got caller id!

Very nasty

This company called and stated they would be filing criminal fraud charges against me for a so called payday loan. When I asked the name of the company and for an email regarding this charge. She refused and asked me if I was on drugs and why would I not pay the $1000 amt.  she got very hateful. I hung up and called back twice to get the company name and physical addresses. Both times they would. Not give it and tried to put me on hold.  Are they legal?

Called today - robo message that a suit was being filed and if I wanted to make a personal statement to press 1 - so I did some Mr. Freeman answered ... SCAM SCAM SCAM

I was threatened by this business

These people have called me several times and are threatening to garnish my wages and take me to court.  The numbers they called me from are 678-661-5467 & 313-556-2585. The would not give me any information regarding their company or send me any information.  Just threats and saying that I owe them money, frustrating and scary because they have my ss#, work numbers and other info.....

I receive calls weekly from this number claiming to be trying to collect an old payday loan from 8 years ago.  They consistently threaten wage garnishment and told me multiple times my HR department received the garnishment order and the only way to stop it was to pay now.  I walked across the hall to my HR department and they received nothing.  I had my company attorney call them back and they refused to talk to them and hung up.  Complete and utter scam.

I have been harassed by this organization through phone calls on fraudulent debt.  I have told them numerous times that the debt is not valid and to please stop calling me, however they continue to call.

Yes I received two calls from these idiots today within an hour one to my home phone and one to my cell for payday loans from 2008 and 2009 which both are paid off and past the statue of limitations, anyway they said I worked at such and such company which was wrong, but the rest was correct, but I didn't let them know that anyway once I was done getting all their information I proceeded to tell them that I don't have any unpaid payday loans and I don't care what your system says and that I know this is a scamand as I was telling them I was reporting them they hung up and waited about 30 mins and then made the call to my cell phone  same numbers as before, where they knew who I was even before I said anything caller Id I guess anyway they kept putting me on hold and then hung up on me. The callers name is Alicia Douglas (which I have seen her name pop up on scam sites before) company in which she called from RG Financial, return number 6786615467, caller id number 9313474851, number alicia gave me to call them back 6155230690 address they have to send cc payment or check caed payment only P.O. Box 2487 Norcross Ga supposedly belongs to APE Processing which Alicia told me was their payment processor, but that address actually belongs to a Cathy or Kathy Sparks in Deluth city may be spelled wrong and I apologize any it goes to an address in Ga but not Norcross, said the payday loans were for a Cardinal Mgmt, and Ax Enterprises and I owed a combined of over $3000 even had a file number. These are scam artist don't fall for their tricks or let them scare you, this is the third one I have had since April with the last one before this back in August bit different names and numbers, you need to report them each and every time you receive something like this as I will be doing again to these idiots.
