Caller named "Peter" who "is an investor willing to buy your property for cash" "quick close"

Caller named Peter Axleman willing to pay cash for the property I own in Georgia. Said he got my number from tax records. He has called not only my cell but my home number. Two weeks ago, he called and I said to remove my numbers from his list. I called again and got a secretary who refused to answer my questions about where they even got my phone numbers because I don't own any property in Georgia (I live in another state). I told them that I had previously requested removal of my phone numbers and that they had been reported. Of course, nothing will be done about people like this!

total scam...got the same message had to block the number on my cell.

I got the same message, offering me cash for a house I don't own on my cellphone.

I received this message the same message on our home recording yesterday.  Thanks for the previous posts so I know now he is not legitimate. I will ignore the call and hopes he will not call again.

I have received telephone calls from whoever this is twice now. The first time, i contacted the property records division of the county and they said they do not give out phone numbers, nor do they have any phone numbers on record. I want to know how this peter obtains people's cellphone numbers.

Judging from comments above that say he calls people offering to buy property THAT THEY DON'T HAVE, it would appear this crook is merely phishing, calling random numbers, maybe robotically. Yours just happens to be in his formula for calling. It's a common ploy of scammers.

I want him caught and put away this is absurd and someone should  do something about him. I have been called my this number 5 times in the passed hour and I don't even live in GA.

Answered and spoke to Gloria, Peter's assistant. He is a real estate investor and buys property for cash. I didn't want to sell my house but did have some property that I was renting out to family. Obviously as an investor he wasn't paying top market price for the house but offered a fair amount since I didn't owe anything. We closed on the house two weeks ago and he paid all of my closing costs and the attorney fees too. I was hesitant at first but everything worked out and he paid everything he said he would.

Not sure how he gets people's phone numbers.  Even though, when my phone number is on the DO NOT CALL LIST.

Can anyone stop this no none sense calls from PETER AXLEMAN.  He seemed very interested in money making.

How did he obtains people's cell phone numbers?

This is a real estate investor that calls around trying to buy properties for little or nothing. I owned a Commercial Building in GA, but it was sold to another Investor in 2013. This Investor has not paid the Taxes on the property, and because the Taxes are Delinquent, a FiFa was placed in my name because of course the County records are so out of date, the FiFA went to the incorrect owner. How he got my number is by tracing the address listed on the tax records, which I am sure is how he got others address. The thing is, in most cases, the information is out of date or incorrect. If you don't have a property in GA, and you don't recognize the number calling, then don't answer. If you do have a property in GA, but don't want to fool with this guy, then block him like I did. I use a magicjack number for his these types of business calls, and the call never rings through because of my phone settings, but I can still search my call history and see that these idiots are still calling. I have notified the County that I am not the owner of this property but they are idiots too.

Received the same call as others on this.  Thanks for sharing.  Not going to waste my time.  As for "Gloria" who had a great experience - Good for you sister! even though I don't trust a thing you said - your comments stick out like a sore throbbing thumb... There's always an angle isn't there?!  Buy my property then pay retail Peter...

He calls around the 25 of every month for the last 3 months. Finally figured out how to block him on my cell.  Hope it works!
