National Motor Sales spammers.  They spam auto ads out of Auto Trader and Craigslist, call you up and lie to you about having a buyer, finanacing, etc.  They try to get you to give them your credit card number so they can charge you for BS marketing services which are all lies and non-existant.

They called (unsolicited) regarding a motorcycle I posted for sale on Craigslist; friendly at first, then requested a LOT of personal info, including SSN, etc..., supposedly to "Help me sell this item."
I gave them a bunch of random numbers and other bogus information to keep them on the line for recording, then told them what I was doing.  They got VERY defensive and short, and eventually hung up on me.  

These people are OBVIOUSLY scammers.  
DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION!!!!!!

As for me, I'm turning the recordings over to the Federal Trade Commission and the FCC.
MAYBE something will be done.

I received a call from this number - I have an item on Craig's List and I will NOT return their call, they didn't leave a message - but how do we stop these spammers???

They also are calling my cell in oder to get me to use their services. I have yet to give them the time of day. In fact wheen they call I laugh at then and hung up.

My number is listed as do not call......I intend to file a complaint against this company with GA's Attorney General and FCC...Suggest you do same...Company in AZ was doing the same thing last year and the Feds fined them and shut them down...Probably the same ones, just moved to a different location.

They continue to call me and will not stop. I am on the do not call list as well. They do not answer when I call back, the line simply changes from ringing to a busy tone. I would like to report them and stop them from calling me.

I keep receiving phone calls from this number after posting my motorcycle on Craig'slist.  They always hang up after I answer.

they also call me about the motorcycle and hang up when I answer.  Only once out of about eight or ten calls have I actually spoken with someone who still calls even though I told him I'm NOT interested in them selling my bike for me.  I have read about people who have used them and then been charged very high hidden costs.

Got a call from this idiot who did not talk. Where do these idiots come from ? I guess being on the "Do Not Call List " makes a difference ?

I recieved a call on my cell phone from  this number 678-701-8027 on June 25, 2010.  When I answered no one spoke, and the call was ended.   I called the number back immdiately, but no one answered.

Rex in the Vehicle Research department of National Motor Marketing left a message on my cell regarding their interest in selling my car for me - my car is listed on Craigslist.  He left (800) 727-0681 as his callback number.  Needless to say, I won't be calling him.

I got a call on my cell phone.  I called the number bac kand actually got a recording to leave a message.  
Just called the number listed by "Maria" got a guy who explained that the hangup call to my cell was "in error"
They get your number due to ads that were placed by you, so Do Not Call list won't help...
Said he saw my car was lited below market value and he could help me get more for it...

I keep getting phone calls from this number and when I pick up they hang up. Just like others I have posted my motorcycle on craigslist. There obviously is a connection there.

I keep getting unsolicited calls from 678-701-8027.  I am sure these calls are triggered by my for sale ad on craigslist.org.  I believe there is a person or persons getting phone numbers listed in the ads and are trying to contact sellers so they can scam or take advantage of the person selling the item.  I have been called every week for months, first from 215-253-5974 and now from 678-701-8027.  These calls are annoying and costly to call/answer/etc.  I would like to be able to block the numbers on my cell phone.

Same thing.  I'm taking that all the craigslist spammer reporters got no where.  But I listed a garage sale and an airconditioner.  Just a hangup!

Posted ad on Craigslist and now getting calls with no one on the line.
