Keep getting several calls from them but no voicemail when I call back it rings only once and they pick up and hang up. I've been getting unwanted phone calls at my work saying I owe money from a payday loan in 2013 with no proof whatsoever, each time calling me from different phone numbers or asking me to call back to different phone numbers. I've asked to see proof of this "loan" but somehow it's never an option. Is this company legit and how do I get them to stop if they aren't.

It's a legitimate company in the sense that it is a registered Georgia LLC.   However they are not following the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.  They are required to send you a debt validation letter within five days after contacting you.  E-mail no good.

Just because a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt does not mean you owe it
If a voice on the telephone claims you owe a debt:

1.    Demand the person give you his or her name, company name, and address
2.     Demand a debt validation letter by US mail.  E-mail no good.
3.    Do not pay  the collection agent or anyone else a  DIME  until the debt is validated.

Of course they won’t do this, no scammer ever will, so simply block their calls and ignore them.

If they continue to bother you, and you know you do not owe any money,  tell them that you know this is  a debt scam and that you are making a complaint to the police for extortion.  You might have to yell at the scammer and talk over him or her.  Once you get a copy of the police report and they call you again , just read out the  file number and the name of the PD or Sheriff’s office involved.   Tell them you’ll be glad to send a copy to them .

If a complaint had been filed against you under the court system, you'd have heard about it by letter from the attorney for the other side.  There'd be a paper trail .  You would NOT have heard about it from some scammery-scummery debt collector who cold calls you and demands money.  Don't give them ONE DIME in the absence of a detailed debt validation letter sent you by US mail.  E-mail no good.  See my other notes.
