They've repeatedly called claiming to be the fraud division saying "final notice before files are downloaded against you".

Just got a call from this number. Is it a scam?

I just got a call to something about fraud division.

Same as above, stating charges are being filed and downloaded, gave me name of Erica Jackson calling from this number but gave different number to call  back 678-661-0447. this is BS!!

Told me that I was accused of fraud.

Just received the same kind of call but by a guy named "jeffrey jones". Sounds like a total scam

just received a call from this number with no call back number.  How do you accuse me of something and then don't leave a number to call back????

this sucks because my daughter is always home when they call and they freak her out how do we get these people shut down

Got the same call . Started asking questions and they hung up on me . They messed with the wrong bull . I have served the public for 25 yrs . I will do what i can to shut them down . I am so sick of this [***] !!!!!

Investigator Nancy Blackwell called me concerning check/wire banking fraud.  She stated the state of Virginia would be arresting me within 24 hours unless I paid up voluntarily.  I hung up and she became very aggressive.

This is a common ploy by criminals attempting to extort money from people by scaring you into believing that you will be criminally charged, go to jail, lose your driver’s license, have wages garnished, be sued, and a variety of other variations on this,  all for an alleged or nonexistent debt.  They also use the “process server” who calls and claims he is going to serve you, but then says you could avoid it by calling another number.  Now why would a “process server” want to do you, a stranger, a favor, and at the same time not get paid to deliver the papers?

Federal law (FDCPA) requires them to send you a letter (US MAIL ONLY) within 5 days of their first contact that contains their name, physical address, the creditor’s name, and the amount of the alleged debt.  It also must contains “mini-Miranda” telling you that it is an attempt to collect a debt and that all information will be used for those purposes.  The one other important thing that this letter must also have in it is that you have a right to dispute the debt within 30 days of receipt of the letter and if you do so, all collection activity must be stopped until the debt is verified.

This is the same group who called me at the end of last month, one agent called herself Cindy McCoy in one recording and today called herself Lindsay Ann Stevens from the workers compensation and check devission. Same woman working dimfferent scams. Contact your state attorneys offenses an file your complaints. This is the fastest way to start getting these people shut down.

These are the same [***] that called from Denver Colorado. The only difference is they are using another telephone number to call from I am calling the Georgia AG after lunch and filing charges. Word of advise, do NOT allow them to speak. Just go off on them and tell them that you know they are a scam and that you're calling the cops.

Says I have done check fraud ( payday loan) I owe 1200.00. Just googled the number and found out others have had the same call. It bothers me that they new my name and my old address.

I do not want to be contacted by this company is there a fraudulent the extremely rude unable to provide me information I want this number remove any type of ability to contact me

I've gotten 5 calls from this woman in less than 24 hours. I'm out of state for the death and funeral of my uncle, and this idiot keeps bothering me!!! I don't owe ANY person or company. My credit is very clean. I wish I could file charges against this person (s) or whatever this is!! I'm furious at the attempts to scare me into giving out mine and my husband's personal info. We are NOT fools! People....please listen to your gut instincts....DO NOT GIVE YOUR INFO! IF THEY SAY THEY ARE A COMPANY, YOU HANG UP.....GOOGLE THAT COMPANY....AND YOU CALL THEM!!

I received the same number called me twice. They do not even know my name but claimed there is a claim against me. I worked for law firm before. This is a scam.
