Indian male called at 8:45 AM, wanted to know if he had reached me, but could not pronounce my name.  Wanted to know if I had the phone number of one of my neighbors, whose name he could not pronounce either.  I asked if he was kidding, and how it is he could find and identify me as a neighbor but he could not find their phone number.  He said their number was no good, and he looked mine up on the internet.  I suspected a debt collector, told him I would not give him their number under any circumstances, and hung up.

Thank You for information above.  Have had caller id for over 5 yrs.  The wuz left a message on my answering machine 10:55AM....trying to raffle it out...trying to do it so I wouldn't hear it.  Proof to give to the POLICE and this websight WHERE OTHERS HAD PROBLEMS WITH THIS PHONE # .

Received a call to verify my home address (at my place of work), when I asked who they were they said Nationwide.  I could barely understand what she was saying.  When I asked what this was pertaining to they would not give me an answer just that it was a personal matter(still refused to give the reason for the call) and insisted that I verify my home address.  When I refused until they told me what it was about, the lady on the other end got very angry and hung up.

If a company has a number on file chances are it was associated w/ that people in the past - in NO way is that harrassment; are for all you people out there who think that companies will forgive you spending $.... if you want forgiveness get religion. and pay your BILL; I missed a payment they called me up I payed it right away- they were not rude at all- helped me get out of collections quickly.

a collector gets paid 50% thats bull s**t.. the money goes to the collectoin agency and not the collector, dont blame the agency for your debts. if you dont wanna pay, give it as a refusal to pay THATS IT.

hello smart guys the collectors work according to FDCPA that means they have to verify the right party, just guess if they dont verify your add and disclose your debts to your colleages or room mates or friends, EMBRASSING isnt it huh, just shut your mouth and co-operate with them and get a resolution towards your debt, guys the simpliest way to do so is to tell them your situtation and they will come up with a solution.                any info regarding collections just comment here i will give you a reply,    turst me i wont charge for it..........

This company called me on the one phone that waws listed with the creditor. I told them I would call them back the next day because I owed Amex NO Balance.

Those PIGS called me 11 times each on different cell phone numbers that I never listed with them. How the heck did they get those private unlisted cell phone numbers.  

Then they started calling friends and relatives, how did they get there #'s. Stole a copy off my phone bill?  Sprint couldnt give me any answers.  Sprint said they are in British Columbia, the number they are calling me from and spoke with the people who refuse to cooperate.

I am going to pursue this to a lawsuit.

they called me today 678-784-1039 and had my right last name and asked if i was related to my husbands brother and wife because they are in debt and are probably having problems with this agency and now they are calling extended family?? who knows, but they asked if we were related and I told them no, becauase we don't talk to them.

This is a colletion company that is in clear violation of the Fair Credit Debt Collections Act. They are FALSIFYING who they really are !
I was curious when I started getting calls for my ex husband who is now remarried for several years, from people they apparently owe money to.
On my caller ID, SAXON MORTGAGE shows up with the phone number, (678)784-1039.
If you visit their website, it looks like someone is applying for a mortgage or inquiring about one. At the very bottom of the web page is states, "this is a collection agency" or something to that effect.

I just received a call from this number asking me questions about a neighbor that I don't even know.  I told the caller I did not know them and he kept asking if I knew how to contact them or if I could give him names of other neighbors who might know them.  The caller had very heavy accent, so it was difficult to understand him.  Also, I am home recupterating from surgery and was very irritated to get to the phone for such a call.

Got a call from this # for the 5th time, and they're always asking for Candace.  Is this harrassment if I continue to tell them that Candace is not at this #?

This number and another number 678-486-1027 called me two times in a row...but alternating?
