I have gotten several phone calls from these people also, even after I sent them letters telling them to validate the debt (to which they haven't as of yet).  They even sent the debt to the National Arbitration Forum to whom I also sent a validation letter and they never responded and just went right ahead to get an award without following the proper procedures.  They have also called me over 17 times before 8:00am which is against the law (you can find out all that information on the Fair Debt Collection website).  I have also surfed the web and found out that they have been sued several times for harassment, abuse, not following the Fair Debt Collection Act, etc.  To find out some of this information you can go to this website:  http://www.stopcollectionabuse.com/whatsnew.htm

Have received two calls from this number today. One female with a terrible accent and at 6:45 p.m. a very rude male telling me to call today because this is a "time sensitive" matter.  He said his name was John Johnson.  The return number he gave me is 888-232-8439.

I have sent them certified letters to stop calling and they are still calling... They have not answered my request for Validation either ...
I have yet to talk to them.. Sometimes they leave message sometimes not
After reading this web site it is appalling that they get away with just a fine ....

These people keep calling my cell phone asking for Victoria Caine.  I have told them I am not Victoria and don't know her, but they call several times everyday anyway.  Will try some of the things suggested here.

Got a call 3/12 at 8:30 a.m.  Said they from Mann Bracken and that even though "you are retired, we can and will get your social security check unless you pay this bill in full."  I offered to make arrangements for payments each month since I am raising two grandchildren and their reply was "we don't care about any grandchildren" and "we don't care if you only get social security" either "pay this bill or we will have your social security check next month."  I do not believe they can touch my social security check by law but they are very rude and obnoxious people and even told me I was a liar saying my only income was social security.

"Unknown" number called here and left message that they were some attorneys ofc. and to return the call immediately, also I am on the "do not call list".  I didn't call back.

I get calls from this number several times a day. If I answer, a recorded voice tells me I have a message waiting and to press 1 to hear the message. The message is then "retrieved" after a minute or two and it's the same each time. I think in that minute or two the computer is seeing if there's an operator who can answer my call. The message is that I should return the call, that's it.

When I don't answer or reject the call, the computer leaves a voicemail, but the beginning is cut off, so the following is verbatim what I hear:

"to 9 PM Eastern time, Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM, Friday, and 8 AM to 12 noon on Saturday. Once again, that number is  866 224 0630."

its always the same guy i ended up talkling with.
they had a collection account of my husbands i think it was belks or something one of those places.   and we owed 600 and some dollars we had to pay them, they had another with my husband and they took him to court over it

These people have called my cell for weeks. Verizon can not block their calls. I have told them I am not the person they are trying to call. They stop for a few days and then start back up stronger each time. These people are "Jack-A**es".

I dealt with them becasue of a Target account. They called none stop. The rep I dealt with though was actually nice and patient with me. Once They stopped being stalkers that is!

By the way, everyone should know there's a smsll switch on all telephones that silences the ringer, great for idiots like these, after the first call flip the switch.

Received a two hung up calls from 404-591-3692 - check numbers off caller ID it was listed to Mann Bracken,LLC.  Does this count towards their debt recovery or just to say they called.

If anyone changes their # to a non published #, never give that new # out to anyone! Including your utitily billing co or banks. Collectors have access to programs that pull from the utility co's your phone numbers including your family and neighbors. I was a collector, I know the tricks but I hate when other collectors take it to the harassment level. Turn them into the Federal Trade commission.

I have been receiveing calls from this firm and have not answered them. They are in regards to a debt with Cap. One however this morning I was greeted at my door with a court summons for a debt of $1700.  I had planned on calling them to offer a settle ment but afetr reading these comments I am afraid to deal with them.
