Got a call from this number in a female voice claiming that two summons were outstanding and would be executed against the party called (target).  The target name was given as a female Hispanic, who did not reside at the number called.  This number is a brand new number being used by the same call-bot system after the first number it used was blocked.  This is a call-back scam using a fake number that actually ties to another number elsewhere to which paid charges are routed (arising from calls back to the call-bot number made by targets).

This is the same person or company that also calls using the following numbers: 801-889-1957 and 501-476-5109, and probably multiple other numbers. The message is always the same, and on the same day of the week.  Anyone should be able to identify just by the fact that they continuously change the caller ID number that it is a scam.

I have been getting these calls for 3 months every day. And when I figured out the number is a cell phone I text them back a pretty aggressive message to drive my point across to stop calling me. They got it which confirms they are a scam. When you call them they are hesitant to give any information on the company which is a red flag. They should be thrown in jail.

Same as above. Wish I could strangle whoever is behind this stupid scam.

Guys, Please make sure folks you know have heard about this scam.

I HAD been getting these calls for my elderly, partially deaf Father on both phone lines at my home, under a number that was stationed out of Utah. I filed a complaint with the Utah State's Atty. Gen.'s office, and NOW these calls are coming in from an Arkansas number. The computer that calls pauses and speaks my Father's name after demanding that this unnamed company will have warrants for my Father's arrest issued if he does not immediately call them back and provide them with his Social Security number.
We contacted our local BBB and was told this is a phone scam that has been going around the country. They are now using a new phone number out of Arkansas.
The old number they used was: (801)889-1957. The current number they are using is (501)476-5109.
My Father has no outstanding credit cards or other bills, so there is no reason someone should be calling. This is an attempted elder-scam.
If you get these calls - report them to the Do Not Call List people AND to the Attorney General's Office Consumer Complaint Division of whatever State you have the call coming out of until SOMEONE finds a way to catch them.
I'm SURE they're using spoofing software... but until some one gets serious about finding a way to track them, all we can do is report them. Do NOT call these monsters back!

I heard back from the Arkansas ATTY Gen's Offc:

The Attorney General’s office cannot prosecute these people. It is known that these type of scams are outside the country. They use “burn” phones which allows them to get any number and area code they choose. Also, a “burn” phone cannot be traced. The best thing to do in this situation is of course recognize these are scams but also file a report with the FTC (Federal Trade Commission). You can do this at their website www.ftc.gov or by calling them at 1-877-382-4357. Please do not hesitate to call or email us if we can be of further assistance to you.

Like the other people on here, these people call here daily with 3 (by my count) different phone numbers.  Very frustrating that nothing can be done.

My 90 year old mother constantly gets calls from this number looking for someone who does not live at her address.  They claim to be a collection firm.  These calls always upset my mother greatly.  I called this number & got an outgoing message like they are helping other customers, hours of operation, etc.  BUT THEY DO NOT GIVE THE NAME OF THE COMPANY OR BUSINESS - After the outgoing message, a recording comes on stating that their voicemail cannot receive any more messages.

So I keep getting these calls as well with the exact same message.  Then I got did get notified by an attorney and saw a complaint in my name for Portfolio Recovery.  Yet nothing in writing from them and they refuse to answer any questions.  What can be done?  This is ridiculous.

Information from a recording was given to me from my old employer saying I had a summons and complaint. I had verified the last 4 of my social security number, mistake, they tried to say there was a complaint for fraudulent activity and breech of contract on an old payday loan. I told him I never had a payday loan and that the bank account they were referring to was closed,and someone must be committing fraud. THey said they are just mediators and that they try to give people a chance to pay it before court. Then I asked his name which he said was Dan Jones then I asked the Company name and he said it was IRC. Then he told me that he would not that there is a dispute and I should recieve the court papers in the next few weeks. and have a good day. When I said hold on,he hung up. They are trying to get you to send them money/account information.

Called me and left a message. Said there are 2 fraudulent charges against my SS number.

Don't you think its suspicious that the number is not connected to business when you google it?

Just got call from this number with the same message. Any call that cannot use your name and keeps switching between automated voice "ain't" real.

Receive the call and immediately hung up I don't have a loan neither do I want one!

Got a call again.  I called back and it sounds like a call center. It prompted me to input my case number. Then a white male answered and said his name was Rick. I asked for the company name and said it was IRC

The keep having a recording and I asked for the adress of the company so i can contact my Atty. General and Berry( processor) Hung up on Me .

I just spoke to barry and he argued with me because i wouldn't give him my name and he hung up

Freaked me out when I got this call but my husband told me it is a scam and told me to google the number and I found this site which confirmed it was a scam! So annoying!

The voicemail scared me but knowing and hearing it's a scam makes me feel better
