This number called me twice and each time I answered, they quickly hang up.

Harasses you regarding problems with your personal information leaking onto internet.  Say they work with Bell and Shaw.  However no one has any connection with them.  I believe they try to get you to let them on your computer to pretend to remove  virus and the charge u for it.

Told me he was my friend and said he wanted to give me a kiss. Called my work phone. Ewwww.

Was called last week from a different number telling me they were from godaddy and warning me that my domain may be ending soon.  

Called me first thing this morning to tell me that they had bought the domain and that they would sell it back to me.  Scamming [***].

These are awful scamming jerks.  They called me over and over yesterday til I picked up.  They CLAIMED TO BE GODADDY and asked if I wanted a domain that would be expiring that day.  I said idk, maybe, they called back today and told me they bought it and wanted to sell it back to me for a crazy amount of money.  Lying, shady, fraudulent horrible people.

They called me and asked, "Is this *** ****?"  I said, "Speaking." and they hung up.  Strange.  Perhaps they are trying to confirm valid phone numbers.

Called me claiming to sell solar panels for homes, I said i have an apt and they hung up immediately... scam.

Called and hung up and left no message... I don't pick-up numbers I don't know, and this call was one of those...

Called my iphone.  I answered with "call you later".  I called back, they answered, I asked who they were and they hung up.

Just received call from 678 833-9386.  Asked who was calling.  Something about marketing...  I said no thank you, please take me off your list.  The man said 'F_ck you' and hung up.

Called my cell phone last night and again today. I couldn't pick up either time and they didn't leave any message.  Seems like a scam from the comments I've read and I'm glad I didn't answer.

They called my cell phone. I didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up. They did not leave a message.

Called from this number and asked for someone who doesn't work here.  I think that they just had the first name wrong.  When i called the number back, it was for $100.00 WalMart gift card promotion.  What a scam!

I suspect either a prankster or telephone verification for hacking purposes. I suggest changing all your important passwords and follow strong password guidelines.
Him: May I speak with (my name)?
Me: May I ask who's calling?
Him: (Hang up)

Man with an accent, claiming to be from UPS, wanted to deliver a package to an employee who doesn't work at this site.  When I told him so, he asked where.  I requested the parcel's tracking number, and he said, "I'm not telling you."  I replied, "Well then, I'm not telling you where he's located," and hung up.  Score one for our side!  Also, see my post today for the number 614-906-7706 under the tag "Switchboard" (someone else on this page took the name first) as well as Mark's 21 Feb 2014 entry.  These numbers might be related.

A "John Adams" called from this number with a heavy accent amidst much "call center" noise in the background. He said, "uh yes, My name is John Adams and I am calling from Bank of America for {the president of our organization}. I asked what it was regarding, and he said, "He will know what it is regarding, I'm calling from Bank of America!" After I confirmed with the president's office he was not expecting any such call, I returned and told this fellow that. He indignantly responded, "Not expecting? Not expecting? Ah! I even called his cell phone and he knows I am calling."

I did not respond, to which he quickly uttered a "Well, thank-you-goodbye..." [click]

Just got this call as well...asking for my VP (by a completely wrong last name, btw), complete with trademark "call center" noise in the background. He claimed to be calling from CIsco Systems and that my VP was expecting the call.

Funny...I wonder how he can be "expecting a call" from Edgar of Cisco Systems when he is currently lounging on a beach in Hawaii.

Gave him a nice taste of dead air when I hung up on him.

And the calls continue, this time from this number: 678-833-9386 AND 347-509-2724.

We are actively collecting data on these calls and their origination and will be filing a report with our police department when our investigation has concluded.

Calls and after 4 rings..hangs up without leaving message. I am on DNC list. Shows as Jonesboro,Ga

Received call from this number and the person asked for the home owner. when i said i was on the do not call list and would report him he said go ahead with some attitude
