Sprint calling regarding past due bill.  

Interesting.
That is a VOIP phone number.
Do you really think Sprint Customer Service uses VOIP numbers?

I called sprint directly and they said its probably SPAM! Don't pay your bill with these people or the 1-888-335-6369 number either!! Call sprint directly and ask what's going on. It's a scam!!

Stated they were Sprint calling about a past due bill and would be cancelling service within 48 hours if not paid. Wanted me to pay at that minute by pressing 1. Contacted Sprint directly..they said there is no cancellation of service notice..THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT PAY THESE PEOPLE

Plus they know my zip code...Tried putting a "fake " zip code in..But they knew that it was not mine...Yikes!!!

This is definitely a SCAM. I called the number back, and kept pushing zero to speak with a representative, and when someone finally came on the line, I asked her what the nature of the call was, and she said “Let me pull up your account”. She asked for my 1st and last name, which I gave her, and then she asks for the phone number, and either the phone pass code, or the answer to my secret question. I quickly said the answer, because I knew that she probably wouldn’t be able to spell the unique word properly, and then I hear her quickly typing in the background...why would she be typing my answer? So then she says “I’m sorry ma’am, but what is the spelling of the name?” So I angrily say “Well, Don’t you SEE it right there? Why would you be asking me for the SPELLING if you can SEE it right there?” She starts stuttering and stammering and says: “I’m sorry, but the spelling isn’t showing up, and....” (WTH?!) at which point I cut her off and told her that she WASN’T from Sprint, and that Sprint would NOT be using a VOIP number to contact customers! This was a SCAM! I told her to remove my number!
