crank call from this number showed up on caller id. person unknown left a silent message

Someone just called me from this number, when I answered it was no one there...annoying...

Person told my wife they were from Discover about a disputed charge, then after talking to me, said they were going to call Discover.

Received a call from this number, and no one there. Caller ID said Georgia call.

The number 678-901-4597 is a generic number that is generated when a caller uses their local-area access numbers from a long distance company called Nobelcom.com. The call can actually originate from anywhere, but if someone dials your number using Nobelcom.com's service, 678-901-4597 can be a number which will be displayed on your caller ID.

i am Receiving calls from that number 5-7 times a day, and it is silents onthe other line

Just started getting calls from this number. Two so far in as many hours. Anyone else know anything more about it, other than what's been posted/?

Caller said that the Bank of America in California was sending me a check for 2,500,000.00.  This caller has called before with no reply or a scam tactic.

Actually this number came up on my caller ID as a cellular call.  It was my ex calling me from where I believe he is in Virginia.  He said that he was calling from a payphone.  Weird.

I have received calls from this number, and I'm sure it has to do with a Discover Card payment....Discover cards are like mafia when it comes to a late payment

Unknown individual asked for my husband by name and attepmted to verify his age.  Said she really needed to speak with him and wanted to know when he would be home.

Just received a call from this number (678-901-4597) and didn't answer since I didn't know anyone from that area code shown on caller ID.  Weirdest thing... it turned out to be a relative calling from Okalahoma and the number was nothing like her number.  Glad she left a msg so I could call her back.  So who knows how this number gets around!

Got 2 calls within minutes from this number; some one finally said "Who is this?"  I said "Good-bye."  Then a couple of minutes later, I got a call from a Restricted #.  All of these were on my cell phone, a number few people have.

called twice within a few minutes, asked if this was the number for the US consul.

this no. called me and asked if i had recieved any winning notifications from canada, i had. I said i lokedd for them on the internet, saw nothing, thought it was bogus. he then said that they had forwarded the package since i hadn't gotten an international recieving no.reciept. isaid no, i htink its bogus. oine went dead. by the way, i had gotten the mail from canada.You can't win a lottery there, if you are not a citizen, at least that's what i understand

- (silence followed by talking in the background)

- (loud screeching noise then a hang up)

My cell rang at 10:30 PM.
After I said hello, a man (probably in his 40's) said hello and asked for someone (using a undistinguishable name)
I told him he had the wrong number and hng up.

this number called me at 12:55 am and when I check the message in the morning it was silent then I heard the person hang up the phone.
