A recording message from a lady stating i was going to be processed and to press 1 to be connected. Obviously i hung up.

This number called me about a payday loan that I never took out. They only had some of my information right, they threatened me with jail time and court dates.They said,"we want you to be arrested in front of your children", (don't have children). I told them I never took a payday loan out and I have proof in a print out from my bank account. They of course did not believe me. As soon as I told them Chase Fraud Protection has me covered they hung up on me.

dont waste your time speaking to them.  once you answer them, they will continue to call to pressure you into paying.  hung up.  i do and don't care about what they say.  they continue to call me on an off for years.  unfortunately our information will continue to recycle and they will continue to call.

called me three times yesterday, whoever they are wasting time I have no job.

Received a call from this number yesterday and then today I received another call from a different number 202-517-6646.  I have been receiving these calls for 4 years now, same message, different numbers, same threats.  I am so tired of this.  

Time to complain again..I don't know what list I made it onto, but they keep calling me every few months, new business, new names, new phone numbers, same old sob story. They want to help me resolve a nonexistant debt. Call back now to avoid going to jail/court. Can settle for a fraction of the original debt (that doesnt exist).

Each time this costs me money in time and effort for harassment claims, and credit updates to ensure my identity hasn't been stolen. It seems to cost them nothing to continue this method of obtaining business.

lady keeps calling saying i owe for a Payday loan. Said the company is called Payday loan. Ok I told her I have paid all of my loans. She has my information and is using it to try and get money from me. She said if I don't pay will be served with papers and she is giving me 24 hours. She also said we are not trying to get your money yeah right and I was born on yesterday. Anyway, not answering anymore of these phone calls.

still no job  so whatever you think that you can scare me into believing, you can't get blood from a stone.

SCAM--There are  no Debtors prisons in America.  

No one goes to prison for  Debt in America,  but,  you can go to prison for Fraud.  

The idiots called me at 7:30 in the morning, when I told them it was illegal to call me that early, the women tried to argue with me saying that she was not a debt collection agency but an "arbitration firm"  Sorry but the FDCPA still applies AND then her colleagues started on the other line from 202-517-6648 (mind you it is still before 8am), I have all of these calls recorded and will handing to my attorney

I have blocked these people time and time again and they seem to just find new numbers and keep harassing me over a non-existent debt. I know you can contact the BBB and the FBI but it doesn't seem to do any good. Because they just keep bouncing around where they cannot be traced. Only shopping online seems to cause all of this. Why good people trying to live an honest life have to deal with this kind of harassment seems so unfair that no one can do anything to stop these people who clearly have nothing better to do and have no conscious or heart to go after honest working people.

I got that same recorded message.  I told them that I have no idea who they are or why they called a place of business.  The person got snippy with me and told me that I can't ask these questions and them put me on hold.  Then she asked for someone who is not employed where I work.  I the will probably call back and I will tell her the same thing only next time, I will tell her that I am reporting their company.

Left a message " You will be getting served this evening, please call 678-916-8450 to resolove this matter".  First of All, there was no name of the lady who called or what company she was calling for, never said what these papers were that I am being served.  I have been dealing with these scammers for 6 years now, and they need to stop!!  I have reported every single one of these companies to FTC, FBI, state police, atty gen office and nothing can be dione becuase they move from place to place. THIS IS OLD!!!!! Can I file a law suit against them for harrsement? Please help!

Received a phone call at place of business today for a non-existent employee.  Very odd.
I wouldn't think you could be notified via phone that a lawsuit was being filed. Wouldn't an officer of the court have a police officer hand you the summons?
Must be a scam.

They call on my wife's cellphone, saying they are looking for an "Ashley Smith".  Say processing for charges.  Different phone numbers from different areas.  Same message.  

Received a call from a lady by the name of Ms. Mitchell.  She asked if I was familiar with a company called "Bahama Loans" because that was a balloon company that handled all of the collections. I was a repeat offender, and not trustworthy.  I told he that I was not a repeat offender, because I never got loans in 2008.  She didn't believe me, and I took all of her information and told her I would be contacting my lawyer about these allegations
