After about 8 calls I finally had a pen and paper ready to write the quickly-spoken and not-repeated number.  I waited four minutes for a live person and they said they were looking for someone that wasn't me.  They had the wrong number!!

When you learn to use punctuation and how to spell out entire words, you will be relevant.  Until then, you're just being a punk.

I am not paying a thing.  Medical bill payment collections are notoriously incorrect.  I am not going to make double payments on a bill that my insurance is supposed to pick up.

So for all of the bill collectors out there...  Find a real job that requires a skillset other than those of a thug.

your an idiot obviously...and you need to get a job and maybe you wont have anyone calling you...bill collectors are smart and mainly because they have college degrees but decided to go into a field that gives them extra money called bonuses after getting your dead beat a** to pay your bill.....that's why it's also there issue to get your money cause in the long run it's there money

You're the exact reason people don't think bill collectors are "smart."  Some are quite intelligent, but acting like a bully or a punk just makes them look like idiots.  Hell, most of the time they spew off incorrect information and invalid (sometimes illegal) threats.  Learn to deal with people and you will get paid.  Until then, you will be hated.  Your mentallity reminds me of the old time used car salesman.  Grow into the 21st century.

Whether you believe a person *should* pay their bills or not is irrelevant to the collection process.  If you can only use threats or insults, you have no clue how to really manipulate a situation to your advantage.

Well Well Well, I get this same phone message (7-9 times daily). Call this number for an important financal issue. I call it and they have the wrong number. I ask for reimbursement for the call ($.60) and they say they are not responseable for the call. I ask you why should I recieve calls like this 7 times daily only to find out they made a mistake and wont own up to it? Not many of these guys are "Smart" just persistant and annoying.

medical bills go unpaid because hospitals cant "turn off" their services like the utility companies....medical providers (& their "thugs) file your insurance as courtesy - not requirement. not everyone has the "skillset" to process claims therefore the general public has grown spoiled to having someone else do their work for them..and not everyone is mature enough to pay what is owed...so please, continue to provide us with such entertainment; your logic and excuses are priceless!!!!

True, but the general public has the right to clear and fair billing practices and not the coded crap thrown out there.  Most medical billing is cryptic to the lay-person, and most billing is inflated due to many factors including insurance companies, doctors, patients, etc.  The medical field has been spoiled by being able to bill whatever they want and however they want.
