Just got a call from "Nicole Kelly" from "County Investigative Services". She left a message on my cell & my husband's stating that I am the subject of a fraud investigation in which I've been named as the accused and to call her back right away. I called back and it went straight to an unidentified voicemail. Sounds like a scam/BS, especially since my husband & I received similar calls from 202-481-3310 which seems to be the subject of numerous complaints along with (678) 934-0590

I just received the same phone call today at 3:35 from Nicole.  It is a scam and your so right such BS.  I also called back and I got vm.  I think it is pathetic that people need to lower themselves to these scandalist jobs..and take advantage other people.

I received not only 1 but now 2 calls from Nicole Kelly from County Investigative Services
she tld me I'm a part of a fraud investigation for a check written.  She put her supervisor on the phone because I asking lots of ?'s (only because I knew I never wrote the co. a ck)  i then asked the supervisor to send me a copy of ck, didn't have it. then he told me they only do the investigating they don't collect money   WHATEVER!!   I got off the phone called the company they told me I wrote the ck to which I always pay for cash and they told me they don't accept checks.  Of course the supervisor sd there was a warrant out, I asked what County, he then back pedals and sd oh there will be one out.  This company should be the one investigated...I finally said to him, okay I heard enough of your garbage...I have recorded this call he started yelling...so I hang up.  WHAT A JOKE!!

My friend received a call from Investigator Hammer. Said they were trying to reach her relative because they had a fraud case against him and that their client was going to process an application for an arrest warrant. The caller told my friend that they needed to contact him by Friday 10/14/11 and get his statement.

No. 1 - the only ones that can get an arrest warrant are cops or other law enforcement personnel;
No. 2 - cops don't call family members and threaten arrest (not usually) and normally work their investigation up without divulging threat of an arrest.
No. 3 - if they are calling from an agency they will let you know what agency they are calling from.

We're making a report to law enforcement.

I received a message from "Regina Smith" stating that I was "the accused" in a "due process" investigation.  She asked me to return her call.  I called back and was directed to Scott Anderson who said Regina was not at her desk.  He put me on hold to check her desk and came back on the line to ask what the last 4 digits of my telephone number are.  Everything seemed intentionally vague.  I told him they had the wrong person.  My mother received a call the same day from Regina asking her relationship to me.  I told her not to call back.  This sounds like some kind of scam.

Was contacted by Matt Carlilse 678-974-1978. Other numbers for this company are 678-974-1977 and 678-974-1606. The things they say to you regarding a warrant is illegal, if they contact your friends and family and say that, it is also illegal.  This company is misrepresenting itself. If you are contacted call the Federal Trade Commission and file a complaint. It is illegal for them to tell you they will issue a warrant. I was told point blank by their company that they don't care if they say things that are illegal, they are gonna say whatever they have to. The FTC number is 877-382-4357 to file the complaint

I received a call today from EBSS and Associates and they helped me clear up a debt that I totally forgotten about.  We all complain when people try to get us to own up to our responsibility.  We didnt complain when we went online and got the loans when we really needed the money.

This Country is goin in the wrong direction and we wonder why our Money or Real Estate isnt worth anything any more!

Apparently they are still at it.  Now also from 678-974-1979.  This time a woman, 'Investigator Franklin,' informs me that I have an old debt (curiously with a company I used to do business with) and that I owe over $1400.  I told her that my recollection is that any debt was settled and that I need to check my records.  Well she informs me that  my "Time is Up" and you have to pay now, and that she 'Has the Upper Hand in this matter."  I told her that under no certain circumstances do I hand out banking and credit card information to anyone over the phone.    Not sure if these folks are the scam they purport, however I will suggest to anyone that is paying any debts over the phone that you know damn well who you are talking to if you do have the guts to hand out such information.

Like any other debt collector, "Franklin" would have to prove that anyone she had called really owes her money she is soliciting from total strangers. Not only she can not prove that debt is existing, but she is very well aware of that. That is the real reason as to why she is bulling people she does not even know. into forcing them to give her money over the phone. If she has legit way of proving anyone owes her money, why does she not do her job in an appropriate way? All the other debtors do! When was the last time anyone calls you asking you for your personal financial information to take your money without even telling you the name of the company they work for!!!? And using the word investigator instead debt collector, so that you get scared and give them all your information about your accounts and all that over the phone to a person you have no idea who they are, for some debt they can't even prove to you? REALLY???!!!! And then "Franklin" feels she has right to make a threat if you dare to ask her to prove to you why she wants your money for! REALLY????!!!!
