Says they are an insurance company when I told them I wasn't interested they said an agent will call back later and hung up on me. I called back and it was it if service so this number is definitely fake.

The caller told me my computer was reporting a problem with malware and a virus. They wanted me to give them access so they could fix it.  As a computer geek I knew right away this was a scam. The person tried to argue with me for a short while then gave up. He started to repeat everything I was saying almost the instant I said it. He was quite good at that. Finally, he told he was a scammer and that was what he was best at. I told him maybe so but you always get caught in the end.

They called here this morning and it was some Indian guy telling me my windows was sending out a report and he needed to help me fix it.. I let him do his speech and then told him hey dude funny enough I just had my computer serviced and there was nothing wrong with it and he was very persistant until I called him out on it

at least with all these 555s now they scream SCAM

I receive almost daily calls from this number, i  never answer, but my attempts to callback are not allowed from my phone.

Indian guy, horrible connection said my computer had downloaded a virus and he needed me to access it so he could walk me through repairs. I told him I don't have a computer and he insisted I did. Next time I'm gonna keep him on the phone while I watch Colbert.....

Call came in a little after 7:30 PM. Caller ID on phone says Unknown Caller. I picked up but remained silent, caller made no sound, hung up after about 7 seconds.

got a call from unknown number around 1:30pm.  didn;t answer but reverse lookup shows it's from a wildlife management area in WVA.  really.

Got a call for the second time from this number. Indian accent man trying to "give me an auto insurance quote". I told him I was not interested and this is a donotcall number and he is breaking the law by calling me. I filed a complaint.

The voice mail I got says they are from " US Treasury dept. regarding a tax fraud against your name. Ignoring this will be an intentional intent to avoid appearance before a magistrate judge or a grand jury for a federal criminal offense.

So before this matter goes to federal claim court or before you get arrested, kindly call us back on our number as soon as possible at 240-232-2197. Thank you and have a nice day.

This was an computerized female voice with a british accent. What a scam.

I received the same call today. The IRS waits for at least 5 years before notifying  so they can add penalties and interest, and they contact by mail.
