they called no message

I answer and no one is there.  They call at all hours of the day.

They called at 9 AM CDT.  The caller ID said WAMU.  They did not leave a message on the machine.

Keep getting calls from this number.  I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I am getting the same calls as the other posters. The caller ID says WAMU, they say they are with the childrens wish foundation. Not sure if its legit or not.

Just spoke with a lady at this number. she is taking donations for the childrens wish foundation. I asked how much goes to the foundation.. 12%.. This company gets 88% to call me..  I told her no thanks..

This is a phishing call, someone who is trying to get your personal/financial information.  The make-a-wish foundation would never engage in a manner such as this.  My caller ID read Arlington, TX.  Please beware, there are people in this country and foreign nations on the prowl for, well, suckers is the best way that I can put it.  They can put in any number or name that they want using VOiP or an internet-based phone service.

I was shocked when we had the same conversation. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE CHARITY.

Received several call over three weeks.  No one there, no message.

It's not Children's Wish Network, it's Kids Wish Network, and they have a link on their website mentioning that this is a fraud: http://kidswishnetwork.org/tag/fraud/

This is a scam. There are a lot of scum out there lying about who they are and who they represent in order to make themselves rich. They steal by preying on your sympathy for needy people; in this case children.
When you wish to be charitable, search out the charity that is closest to your heart and *you* approach *them*. There are so many scams that even legitimate charities are being misrepresented and your donations diverted to scam artists.

they are calling me and noice in background ,,hanging up on me, keep calling me i am on do not call reg,also  just like the other complaints.....W4J4

Same problem as dj, I unplugged my phones.... since it was before 7am!!!!

Called at 4pm, claimed to be a paid solicitor for "Kids Wish Network". CLID said Arlington TX. I didn't ask how much the solicitor kept, but the charity itself spends 45% of its income on program services, according to the Washington Secretary of State's office (http://www.sos.wa.gov/charities/search_detail.aspx?charity_id=7277).

Called at 7:40 pm, ID caller shows out of area, they  leave no message.

Our called id says WAMU as well. Called at 9pm, which is a late call for us. No answer on other line.

I got the same thing from my caller ID. Since I know now its a scam. . .DELETE!!!!!

WAMU??? Those letters can stand for one of only two things. It's either the radio station of American University (and the NPR affiliate) in Washington. DC, or it's Washington Mutual, the failed bank that was taken over by JP Morgan Chase

Called them back and asked them to remove my number from their phone bank. She said she would do that right away.
She answered the phone," Children's Wish".

Don't belive anything these people say this is a scam if you went on Craig list thats how they got your number.
