I agree.  Never pick up a call if you don't know the number.  Even if it is from your own area code.  If I don't know the number, I look it up on the internet.  If it is a real company, it will show the company's name with the phone number.  I have been getting calls from 888 and other unknown area codes and always look up on the internet first before I think of calling back.

Got a call from this number with no message.  I dialed the number from a different phone; a young lady answered "awards verification center" and I hung up.  Probably a scam.  

This number has recently started calling.  They don't leave a message at all.  It's very annoying.

Timeshare telemarketing. I answered and just kept saying "I'm not interested." They haven't called back yet. Be strong! They are a pushy bunch.

Just got a call from them. Claiming I won a prize from when I was at a Dallas Stars game. All the info they have was right which means the Stars apparently sold my info to them from a contest I entered into while at the stadium. Was wondering what she was up to before she started on about the 90 minute tour I would have to sit through.

If you recently entered a text thing to win glass seats for the Dallas Stars the fine print on your phone that was hard to read stated by entering you allow them to share your info with the person sponsoring the contest which is Silverleaf. You will never get the seats and they will continue to call unless you tell them to remove your name from the list.

I've never even been to Texas and I'm getting calls from this number and they know my name. Kinda creepy and it needs to stop.

Silverleaf Resorts robodialing telemarketing calls.  We have several hundred phone numbers, and Silverleaf *only* calls the numbers that ARE listed on the federal DNC.

Based on this, I suspect that Silverleaf Resorts may be using the DNC as a call list.

Geez, when will you people get it? The DNC was a government program which means it DOES NOT work!! It's a joke they laugh in your face when you say you're on the DNC!
You need to take care of you so either ignore the calls, block them or get a call block service with your provider. There's so many ways to block these idiots these days, so do it & move on down the road!

These clowns keep telling me that someone is suing me!! What a joke-good luck convincing me that i have a lawsuit against me. I have excellent credit history.

Selling property and / or a timeshare.  They get your name from sporting events that you have recently attended and played a game prior to the start of the event, i.e. spin the wheel and see if you win a trip, fill out the card for a drawing for a new car, etc. They call non-stop.  Want you to visit, etc. in order to qualify for the stay.  I did it at a Houston Astros game and regret it ever since.  Online it states they are a scam.

I have been recieving calls twice everyday from this number 6828085321. They will not leave a message. Why do these people call numbers on Do Not Call list?
