I received a call from "Officer Jack Marshall" claiming to be representing the IRS. Long story short - convinced me to pay off monies owned to IRS with a MoneyPak Green Dot card. IRS does not contact tax payers like that. Report incident to www.tigta.gov

Just finished reading the article in Money Magazine when I got the call from this number.  The heavily foreign accented person asked for my son who has not lived at home for 12 years.  Said he was calling for the IRS.  I asked if he was shaking me down for this scam and he hung up.  Do they think we are that stupid?

We received a bogus arrest warrent from the same Jack Marshall. The top of the warrent has a phony United States Seal with the words "UNITED STETES DISTRICT COURT" there are several other misspelled words on the document and nowhere is any name mentioned. I guess they think we are that stupid.

Do consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $50.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I received a call from officer "Jack Marshall" claiming I owe an education tax that I haven't paid for 1,000 dollars and if I didn't pay it I would be arrested. When I argued with him he said he wouldn't speak to me anymore and said he would have me arrested. I asked him where I lived and how he got my phone number and he wouldn't answer and got defensive and hung up. I called him back and asked him for his real name so that I could report him to the police and he said "[***] you" hahahaha this is a complete scam DO NOT fall for it
