Got a call, didn't leave a VM.  Tried calling the number and received a message indicating the call cannot be completed as dialed.

Received call but did not answer. This is an unassigned area code. Second call from an unassigned area code in as many days.

Trying to sell protection from hackers getting into your internet connection.

Called and said they were from IT support at "deck/DEC."  Dunno thick Hindu accent.  Said they were calling to fix my computer.  I asked which one.  They said the one you are using.  I said nice try cow worshipper and hung up.  Scammers trying to get access to your PC.  Don't trust.

Computer software company?  Called Saturday evening, asked if I was the only user using my computer.  I asked them to take me off their list and stop calling.  He said, "Of course not." ...  I am on the do not call list, don't understand how I continue to get these calls.  

Received the call and could hardly understand thick accent.  It had something to do with receiving viral emails, etc.  I asked if they were from my carrier and he said, no, so I told him I was not interested.

This call comes about 1 or twice a year...his name is Sam Miller.....asked if I remembered him...I said no but I do know who he is  he calls several times a year.  He wants to fix my PC....last year I checked this out of scopes and these callers are hackers.  Be careful...there are a lot of them calling under different names.

Because, Janet, scammers and thieves don't pay any attention to the DNC list.  Don't answer your phone, when you don't recognize the number, because you are encouraging them and/or invest in a call blocker.  Hopefully, you have a caller ID device.

In my log of 282 scammer calls, since October, 2013, a good 20 are from "helpful Indians" trying to help me "fix" my computer.  Unfortunately for them, my career was in the computer industry, specifically security and quality assurance.  Too bad.  Find someone else to rob!!  Speaking of which, where are the authorities?  This persists and I get so tired of people advising the reporting of this crime when I have read the same advice for the last 2-3 years and these calls persist.  My solution is to never answer a call I don't recognize (thank Heaven for caller ID).  My next step is to yank my land line out of the wall.  If Verizon doesn't want to lose all of its customers, I would suggest that they find a way to block these calls or provide a means for their customers to do so.  Caller ID registered "Out of Area" on the call, from this number, received 9/27/14, at 4:45PM, EDT
