688-888-8888

March 4, 2015  received a call from 688 888-8888 at 10:20  the morning at Gatineau, Quebec. Did not answer.

Same here and happened today and last Saturday. I'm getting tired of all these types of calls. I answered it again only to sit there for twenty seconds and a recorded voice to say good bye.

Call from that number this morning, no one spoke and then  Goodbye.    We didn't get our phone for these asinine calls.

March 13, 2015. Weird number, got a call from this number. Did not answer, no message was left.

Forgot to mention in case it matters, I am in Sherbrooke.

This number called me three times so far. The first two times there was silence for about 20-30 seconds and then a recorded voice said "Good-bye". The last time was just 5 minutes ago and a human voice connected tot he call and he said his name was Chel (I think) and he was calling from Windows Tech Support.

How is it possible that this scam is internationally known to be a scam and yet they can still set up new lines, obfuscate, and continue to attempt to scam people?

Picked up the phone, silence for about 10 -20 seconds and then a female voice with "goodbye".

Just received a call from this number 688-888-8888. I knew it was a scam call so I did not answer!
I have been getting a lot of theses calls whether from an actual scam numbers and also from Unavailable
Numbers as well!
So Annoying. I am from Toronto.

I got a call from this number at 4:30 in the AM saying they were from EBAY and my credit card was compromised. I do not have an account with Ebay.

got a 688 888 8888 call yesterday about 200 dollars from my scotiabank account ...don't have a scotiabank account !!

Got a call today from this number, did not answer, I'm in Mtl

Got a call this morning at 7:05 (!!!). Started with a ton of static, which should have been my first clue to hang up. Said they were calling from Windows Tech Support and our computer had been hacked. I told them everyone knew it was a scam and not to call again. "No, mam, you don't know! Your computer has been HACKED!" I replied with "no, you don't know!"  And told them not to call back. We're in Regina, SK.

Agreeing with someone above, our home phone is questioned everyday, and garbage like this reaffirms it. Bunch of jerks. 😫

This number called at 7:00 am I hung up.   They called the next morning and did not say anything.  We're in the Saskatoon SK area.

Long voice mail from what sounded like a recorded woman speaking an Asian language.

Got a call from this number.  Usually I never answered but I answered this time. It was a lady. Did not speak English at all.  She was speaking Farsi.

Same here, our land line is down to Hurricane Michael so I had about 5 million voice messages and one was from this number and it was a foreign language. Didn't understand a word she said and hit delete.
