...would love to know what company this is that calls and hangs up.  Irritating.

Called.. left 49 second message of silence.

ask me " if i would like to do business with the federal government"  told her was not interested, she said "may i ask why"  said no, and hung up.

SBA government loan info for small businesses. Yes, they like to hang up on people no matter how nice you are to them.

They said they are the federal procurement agency and then continued to say very misleading things.

He said his name was Eric Griffith and they worked with the fed govt.  Then I asked if they have a specific contract with the govt and he said no.  Then he said a local storage company left the area but the govt wanted to keep govt funds in our area storing their items.  I asked him what area and he would only say the state name.  Hmmm.

I do not trust them.  I asked them never to call again.

The return number he left was 888-408-6759 on a voice mail.

Sounded fishy, asked if we were a small business that would like to do business with the government. I said no thank you, we prefer doing business with people that appreciate our work..then hung up on her before she got the chance to return the favor :-)

Wanted to do business for government with a "small business."  When I requested something in writing they promptly hung up.  Definitely  a scam.

I received a call from this number this morning. He said he was "Looking for someone qualified to shoot infomercials and footage of local schools for government purchases." Then he hung up. Just have a gut feeling something's not on the up and up.

These people call our business often, they claimed to have government work for small businesses.
Most of the time they are rude, the girl that called this time wasn't too bad, however she was pausing a lot during our conversation and I thought she was going to hang up on me.
The call back number Heather gave me was 1 888 408-6759. The caller ID said Purchasing Dept.
with the number 701-661-1007

Call from this number stating they were helping small businesses obtain work from the federal government.
Identified his company as FPA.  Caller ID said Purchasing Dept.  They have some (publically available) information on our business field, but none on our general area, such as the fact that there are no federal government offices within 25 miles of our location.

Got a call from this number, but the caller did not have the courtesy to answer and hung-up without saying a word.

Just call back 701-661-1007 and they will remove you from their list.  It is an automated system that says, "If you do not want to receive any future calls regarding our promotions, press 1".

If you call the number back, and I've tried a few times, you get all circuits busy, try again later.   Listened to woman's spiel.  When I asked her to send me an email so I could confirm the company she was with, etc., she got hostile, took the Lord's name in vain an hung up on me.   Completely unprofessional.

888-448-6759 number left as a callback on our machine while I was at lunch, from CID# 701-661-1007. Message was from "Tallulah" regarding no-bid government contracts and did not identify a company or agency by name. Common scam.

We got the first call from the "government" today. Even if it is the government, there is NO WAY I want to do business with them as a small business! Just look at what they are trying to do to small business now! Not no but HELL NO!

Showed up on caller ID as a cell phone.  Claimed to have government work for small businesses.  Although he was polite, as was I, he had a nasty NY accent.  Funny since the phone number is registered to Fargo, ND and others on here have talked to a woman using this "Cell" phone number.

As soon as we answered the call there was a recording saying "Good-bye", a beep, and then the call hung up.  Caller ID said "701-661-1007 Purchasing".

Answered call, and they hung up.

Silence, then an electric tink noise and then an electronic female voice that said "Good.  Bye".

Third time in two days; this time it was a human pushing GSA contracts.  Promptly reported them (again) at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
