Got call from 614-569-2794 and five minutes later call from 701-671-9123. No matter what number they use, they're either calling for life alert or carpet cleaning service. It doesn't matter that I'm on the useless do not call list, they keep calling because they use spoofed phone numbers so it's hard to pin them down. Just when I was getting used to no more political calls these blisters start up again.

Called late in the evening.  Left no message.  Caller ID: "7016719123".  Apparently, its caller ID has been tempered.  I am on national DO NO CALL list.

Diane calling asking if I wanted my carpets cleaned.  Unfortunately, I had not read the brilliant response by starzec.  Hopefully, they will call back and I can ask if they want their carpets cleaned too.

If you call the number, it says you have "Reached the automated opt out service for this number".  Uh huh.

I reached the same ""Reached the automated opt out service for this number". Doesn't work so I just added another complaint with donotcall.gov. They hang up when reaching the answering machine but sometimes if I am in a mood and am home,  I pick up the phone and very loudly slam it down in their ears.

Need to find my whistle though. LOL

I have received multiple calls from 701-671-9123. I got tired of the tele-markerters calling, so, I turned my answering machine off! After a few rings, they hang up.

"Diane" with carpet cleaning offer. They identified themselves as "Carpet Care" and said they were in Tacoma. When I told them I was on the "do not call" list, they hung up.

I have received calls SEVERAL times from this number and it always says "press 8" to be removed but I continue to receive calls.  I am also on the Do Not Call list.  I called the number back and it had a recorded message making you reenter their number and then your number and it will supposedly remove you within 72 hours.  In other words, their first message of pressing 8 is bull [***].  We'll see if the second message is, too.

If you can talk to Diane, blow a whistle into the receiver. They will stop calling after she goes to the doctor complaining about a loss of hearing in one ear.

I am Damn Tired of these Sick People Call me all the time-- What can be done to put them out of Business????

These folks are complete SCUM .... total criminals ... and horrible human beings.  The numbers tend to be spoofed, so it is impossible to block them.  They run a variety of scams, and there is absolutely NO way to keep them from calling.  Have received hundreds of these type of calls .... and the cleaning scam (ducts, carpets, fireplace flues ) thing is particularly frustrating because they call so frequently.  If they are not calling trying to scam one for cleaning services ... then they are trying to sell you a bogus security system.  Usually I don't answer the phone when they call (doesn't slow them down) .... but every hundred calls or so, I pick up and yell at them .... just for my own benefit (hard to have any effect upon a seasoned criminal).  BTW ... they NEVER take you off their list once you make it on.

If you cannot find a way to contact the number back, if it is a Quest phone number, you can call Quest and harass them in the same manner we are harassed by people using their system. Telemarketers don't care if someone complains, but if it is a business calling them and complaining, they are more likely to be shut down... since they are scams anyway.

I am in Philadelphia, PA and they are calling me from North Dakota to clean my carpets?  How does that work?  Do they fly in special?  Must be SOME EXPENSIVE CARPET CLEANING..Another Number I have to block.  I reported them to Do Not Call Website..
