they are bill collectors from accounts recievables working for dish network

The caller hangs up every time I answer.  They will call 24/7.  Extremely high annoying.

Called for my wife and left no information, when I
said she was a doctor's appointment.....???

Bill collection from DISH. They agreed to waive the return shipping fee when I canceled them, they didn't. Now they are calling my daughter's cell phone demanding SHE pay for it. When she called them stating there was no money owed on the account, they hung up on her.

dish are trying to do the same with me.  I cancelled them,  because I had moved where they does not have service.  Now they want to bill me for a year.  I did not owe them when I cancelled service

They hang up every time I answer the call. I called back and it is a prereorded message stating to wait on the line for the next avalible rep. this gets anoying because it is a buisness number.

Calls me everyday. Once I answered and I said" You callme evryday I'm sick of it!" They hung up. I added them to my reject calls list. Now they call & leave me a message of them hanging up. I don't hear them calling, Thank God, because they are on my reject call list but they can leave a message. Very Very annoying.

Just state :18 U.S.C. 894, et seq....what they are doing is unlawful

Called our company Sat morning - no message. Called twice Sun. 1st time no message. 2nd time hung up when we answered. We've had the  same phone # for 20yrs, no debt & never had DISH.

There are laws to protect all of us!!!!FDCPA ATTY GENERAL....They would stop breaking the law if everyone would actually quit complaining and do something about it. Send in or call your complaint in. This company is over the top on harassment!!! I will copy this to Fair Trade Commission.

I was getting called daily--multiple times--myself!  I called back and got a human finally, only to be hung up on when I asked them who THEY were!  Grrr...finally got another human tonight when I called back, and found out we apparently owed $36 for shipping costs to send back Dish's equipment.  They claimed to be a company called RPM...a bill collection agency working for Dish Network.  This is strange, because we received  a final bill saying we owed $0, and were not under the impression we owed any money to ship their equipment back. Matter of fact, I'm pretty sure we got a check reimbursing us for the money we spent to ship!

I really hope it's MY ignorance and that I really owed the $36--we ended up paying over the phone--and NOT some scam that just saw me give up my credit card information.  :(

I need to make a correction; sounds like somewhat ignorance on my part.  My wife just told me that we were in fact to be charged for shipping.  However, we DID receive a check and NOT a bill, so we assumed all was well.  

I feel better about making the payment now; but why in the world Dish never sent us the bill in the first place is beyond me!  We don't dodge bills.  Just silly and frustrating--especially how this debt collector--RPM--handles everything.  Random calling, expecting me to wait on the line for some available representative?  Then hanging up on me when I call back?!  Grrrrr!

  Why not take their calls to find out who they are and who they are looking for, you cannot find out what they want without identifying yourself as the one they are searching for.  Other than that you pay the bill for your phone and do not owe them the respect of giving them your name.  The main goal should be getting your number removed from their list, in fact DEMAND your number be removed even if you have to say your name is Sitting Bull.  
  By the way, DISH normally send a Shipping Label to return equipment to them.  You simply peel it off and attach it over the other label.  Could you have missed your label?
  For those really struggling, if your only income is Social Security you are judgment-proof, meaning that they can take you to court -if they want to waste their money- but cannot get a judgment against you IF YOUR ONLY INCOME IS SOCIAL SECURITY.  Check with the Legal Aid Office in your state for more information.  

  Also, there are debt collectors that buy old/outdated uncollected debts from businesses so they can hopefully collect some money.  They are called SCAVENGER DEBT COLLECTORS.  Try to get a name of the agent and the company before telling them they are scavengers and not to call again.  You may have to send the message in writing by Certified Mail to get them to stop calling.  

Their recording says, "RPM"  which stands for Receivables Performance Management.

I just got a call from these people, no message left. The bad part I just cancelled my service 2 weeks ago, and just received my final bill yesterday. I haven't sent equipment back yet because they want me to take the dish down and take a part off it to send back to them. They installed the stuff on my roof and the equipment is leased, so shouldn't they be responsible to remove their own equipment.

Call relentlessly... Over $18... Kinda sad.
