I didn't answer because I don't answer unfamiliar numbers. I'm wondering if it's the prerecorded Spanish lady again.

a pre-recorded message in spanish.  no idea what it said.

Ugh, then I guess that scammer has struck again. Thanks for confirming. I've been getting phone calls from several different numbers with the same recording as long as I've had my AT&T cell phone. I recently ran accross this online and I wonder if this is the scammer responsible:

It sounds very familiar-Spanish recording saying you've won and to press "numero uno" to claim your prize. Never press "numero uno" if you get these calls. It is definitely some kind of travel scam (as I've heard on another 800notes thread), so beware.

Just got the same Spanish Lady recording too.

Called an hour ago. I don't ever answer unfamiliar numbers. Glad I checked here.  DON'T ANSWER THIS CALL!!!

Just had a missed call ,when i tried to call back it says the area code may have changed or its not in service .who is this .........

Recieved a call about an hour and a half ago and heard some spanish recording. Did not understand a word! Just hoping i don't recieve a bill for $100 minute phone call.

Got the same thing some spanish lady leaving a message talking about money or something idk i dont speak spanish.

701-934-8989 called on my cell in MD at 10:44 EST... I don't answer when I don't know who's calling. Usually they are identity thieves or other scammers.

I am in the hotpital with my dad-he had a heart attack over the weekend and got a call from this #. I answered it cause I did not know if it was a family member checking in and got a hispanic speaking person-I have better things to do than this and it ticks me off to think that someone else has nothing better to do-get a life and leave the rest of us alone!
