Getting repeated calls from this number, called it back, it offered "free texting" through a service called Haywire (?)  Hung up.  have been getting these calls while traveling, it's a pain in the neck.

Phone call this morning - from someone named Dan, the minute that I told him that I was not interested and didn't appreciate them calling me before 10AM in the morning - he told me "I've been up for 5 HOURS!!"  Then he hung up.  I did not have a chance to tell them to take me OFF their calling list - which LEGALLY I should be allowed to request.  This is harrassment.  I called the phone number back and a woman answered that it was a phone number for a garage door company that her and her husband ran - as a small business, she claimed she knew nothing about an telemarketing service of any kind.  We thought it might not be the right number, but I took it from my CALLER ID on my phone with the Date and Time Stamp on it.  I called the number back again to make sure there was no misdial, got the same woman again - she then proceeded to try and give me some explanation that this was MY problem, not theirs.  Tell it to a court room honey.  Take me off your list or you're getting a visit from my attorney.  People should be allowed to request removal from these telemarketing lists, period. end of story.

The caller id is probably being spoofed.

set is correct, the scammers may be faking the number they send to your CallerID to lay blame on an innocent party (the woman you talked to). This is called spoofing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caller_ID_spoofing

when I answered they only said my name and hungup-- I called the number again but it is a non service number?

Keep receiving calls from this number, when I answer no one says anything. Sounds like a stalker to me. I called the number back and it just rings. Really wish I would get a answer when I call the number back, to let whatever moron this is a thing or two!

bogus caller, scammer

Whoever called me from this number did not talk. They left me a voicemail , no talking. Just breathed heavily like he was jacking it. That was around 2PM, they called again at 430PM I just rejected it.

These people call me every day....

Just got a call from this number to my 2nd home number in MI.  When I answered with "Hello" the caller just sighed and hung up.

it was a sales call for a health product called hgh. i dont know how they got my number. it is extremely rare for me to get soilicitations, telemarketers etc on the phone

i told them the 1st time that i hadnt worked since the end of march due to an accident and that I wasnt interested. I believe once you are on the list they call you repeatedly. I have ignored all calls from this number since the 1st one. I would say they call at least twice a day.

Got a call from someone who intriduced himself as Jim selling some kind of "blend" and then said "oh...you don't need any of this [***]" and hung up.

Received 4 calls today from this number.  I answered the 4th call and the guy on the phone said he was from a nutrition company.  I told him I was at work and asked if it was important.  He said no and that he would call back later and hung up right away.  I didn't have a chance to tell him to remove me from their list.  Incredibly annoying!!

I just received a call to my business cell from this number 702-200-2898. They asked for me and I asked who was calling. Once I realized that it was not one of my contacts, I just pretended to be my assistant and said I wasn't available. They said "Oh, you're not even the business owner. Whatever." After that, they hung up. I found this blog and decided to note what happened for those others who get the same call. If you are getting repeated calls on cell phones, you can always download a "call blocker" app and specifically put this number in (or any others you wish to ignore) and the phone won't even ring. It will still, however, tell you when they call. This way you have a record.

Good luck everyone. I really wish these telemarketing companies would go away and just start using the internet and TV to sell their stuff. If we want it, we'll buy it, but stop bothering me at work!

Received a call this morning from this #. It's roughly the 4th time I've gotten a call from this # within about 2 months.  I know for a fact that I signed up AGAIN on the National Do Not Call Registry with all of my #'s. I haven't applied for credit anywhere in years so I have no idea how they've gotten my number.  

Seems like a joke when someone who calls you, get's no answer, but doesn't leave a voice mail....

just got a call the guy started by asking me if I had ever heard of HGH, I hung up on him. Work cell phone.
