Just received a call from this number in Las Vegas.  Didn't leave a message and I'm assuming it's a telemarketer.  Caller blocked.

only calls does not speak.    Just keeps calling, calling, calling!!!!!!!!!

I have received many calls from this number it the last couple of weeks.  Never leaves a voicemail.  I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know.  I do wish they would stop

Heard the tell-tale "beep" of being recorded and after I said hello a couple of times, I heard a recorded "goodbye" in response.

Person told me they were calling about my windows computer.  When I told them I don't use windows & I have a MAC, they hung up.

Just got a call from this guy... Claimed to be from Windows support services in Denver....near as I can tell the 702 area code is in Nevada. He wanted me to hook up to his computer.... gotta be a scammer. I kept him on the line for about 15 minutes to get as much info as possible but that was it.

This number calls everyday. Never anyone on the line then a recording says "goodbye"! It's driving me nuts!!

As someone said below, the caller told me he wanted to help me with my Windows machine.
I asked several times if he was from Microsoft and he eventually mentioned a company name, but I forgot what it was.
I kept him on the phone for a while and even told him I didn't trust him, but he was persistent. He wanted me to open up my EVENT VIEWER hoping that I would be alarmed by all of the warnings there (which I've read is normal). He even tried to reassure me that I could unplug my modem while I did this, but I assume that if I found something HE thought was dangerous to my computer, he would have had me plug it back in. Finally I told him I'd write down the instructions and call my ISP or my virus protection company if I found the "DNS errors" he was trying to scare me about. He got frustrated and told me to call Microsoft then hung up.

Just yesterday bought and downloaded a malware cleaner and protecter.  Today I got a call from that # claiming to be from Microsoft Windows.  I told them I know they are a scam and hung up.  They must be upset that their bug has been killed.

this guy was very annoying and wanted  to fix my computer saying he was from windows, and kept insisting on me to follow his instructions and to give him information,  i knew he was no from there after he asked me for my Facebook name. which then after i started to waste his time by keeping him on the line as much as possible, then hung up. he had a stupid accent which he got frustrated because i didn't know what the f**** he was saying it was funny he got mad after a while.

It is a SCAM !!!!  I got the call. Could not understand a word he was saying, VERY heavy Indian accent - he was getting very frustrated with me saying that I knew where the computer block was on my computer ---- ah, I was playing with him trying to get more info out of him as he was acting very strange and not answering any of my questions.  I am definitely not computer illiterate with a Masters Degree in Information Systems Management concentrating on Security.  I said to him that this was a scam and he yelled back no it was not.  So I played a long a bit longer.  Opened the Event Viewer and he told him that I had about 11 thousand events.  He said in astonishment "oh my gosh... this is not good, let me get my technician"....  Another gentlemen got on the phone, with less of an accent, sort of, and said this was bad. I proceeded to  ask him what the heck they were talking about, and he said again that they were commissioned by Microsoft to find computers that were infecting the internet.  I told him that we have a secure setup with very good virus protection with our ISPs and very secure firewalls etc.  He just was not buying it.  I then asked him for his IP address so I could block him.  He said that I could not do that.... I just smiled to myself.  I then said I had to leave right away for a meeting, he said he would call back later, I said no, please give me their number and I would call them.  He gave me his name of Anthony Brown at 720-452-0274, and asked me to repeat it.  I then asked he - bottom line, what is the catch - what is the cost?  He said it depends on how much was wrong with my system and how many files were infected.  I then said - I will call when I can if at all.  He then proceeded to call me back at 4:30pm and called himself Michael.  I then told him to never call here again.

Received a call from this number at my place of business on the general line. A man with a thick Indian accent said something about Windows. I said, "Excuse me?" as I didn't catch the entirety of his statement. He then asked if he could speak to my mom. He must have thought I sounded young. I laughed and asked him to please remove us from his call list. He then said something along the lines of, "You want to f*ck me?" Again, I thought I must have misunderstood because of his accent, so I said, "Excuse me?" He repeated himself and confirmed what I thought I heard the first time. Totally creeped out, I said, "F*ck you." and hung up the phone. He immediately called back and I, of course, didn't answer. After giving this some thought, his first assumption that I was a child makes his comments even more troublesome. This man is disturbing.

Got a call from this idiot today on my work line. At first I tried to be polite because we get tons of telemarketers calling us. I asked to be put on the "do not call list" he proceeded to tell me in a thick indian accent that I could not be placed on the list because he was trying to help fix my computer. As I am not stupid, and also in law school I responded with, "I know this is a scam, take us off your list." He replied with "aww lady, who the f*ck told you?!" in a less heavy accent. I told him I would be pursuing legal action against him if he called again.

Suggest checking out free account at youmail.com - you can program in the caller's name under the contacts section, and assign a pre-reorded (also free from their 'community' section of outgoing answering choices) a "nenerrnerrr, the number you have dial has been disconnected or is no longer in service..." announcement that ONLY that particular caller will hear.  I've found this helps some in cutting down on these bs calls.

Today I got the call from this number. An indian accent guy said that they are getting alot of error message from my computer windows. I dont have computer at all. I let him know that. And he aid no no aren't you so and so (he said my name) I said no and he said oh and hanged up.

This is re-hash of 'Ammyy scam' which I thought was shut down by authorities in India and Microsoft last year.  Guess not.  It works by having Indian sweat shop guy call you and ask you to open up "event viewer' and see if any icons are present which might suggest virus infection.  Of course the icon he describes is not indicative of infection but he makes you think it is.  Then he directs you to the website for a real company 'Ammyy.'  This gives them remote access to your computer and say goodbye to your bank access codes, etc.  This is not a real Microsoft rep, obviously.   Google "Ammyy Scam" and see what fun you can have with these morons.  They will stay on line forever trying to get you hooked.  I kept them online for 90 minutes once!

I am ok yes I received the same  702 number, I called back a recording not an operator answered and  stated this 702 number is not in service please try again later. Oh well guess I missed the publisher clearing house million dollar check.

Received call from this number a couple of hours ago.  Didn't answer, and no message left.  I'll take everyone's word that it is yet another number used by our friends from India who want to "fix" our computer....
