this number just sent me a message wanting to buy something via pay pall and wanted me to send a invoice , but when I called the number , no one picked up the phone and this person sent me another message saying I just missed you call if you can send me an invoice to layvafreedy@publicist.com they would arrange for someone to pick up . when I looked up the number it was from Las Vegas, Nevada I am in east Texas ...

Its someone trying to get you to send a western union for a large item purchase on Craigslist.  Con-artist!  Use caution.

the guy say want to buy something from criagslist, then say will transfer money by paypal but they acttually didn,t.do that,then ask me to return the money,or else will call FBI.

PayPal and western union told me ***ITS FRAUD**** This person tried to get me to pay movers for some furniture I had on Craigslist. I got a legit-looking email from PayPal saying he sent the funds, but when I checked, they weren't there. He threatened me with another email saying I myself were fraudulent and he was contacting the FBI or something. Forward any emails to spoof@paypal.com and they will tell you they are fake.

This is a GROUP of scammers not just one individual! I received the exact same text from 3 different phone numbers just hours apart & an email that was similar from a third person, none of which knew I was "dealing" with the next. The phone numbers I dealt with are from LasVagas area code of 702. They tell you they can't talk but can communicate through text or email. They offer to pay through paypal but want to include a courier fee in your payment.They will send you a fake email from "paypal" saying a credit to your account has been made in the amount you are asking plus the courier fee. They want you to open the fake email, open the fake link & give your information away.

Thanks for posting this I just got the same text as you from Craig's list trying to sell my coffee table and I got 2 text hours apart from those same 702 numbers I knew something did not seem right. Thanks so much you just saved me from being scammed
