These people called me FOUR times between 7:30 and 8:15 in the morning.  Each time I told them they were violating the law as we are on the no call list and to remove me from their list and never call me again.  Each time I hung up on them, they called back.  I spoke to FOUR different people at their company and each one had a different accent than the previous person.  Told me that I won $2.5M from Sweepstakes Clearinghouse (when I told them I never entered anything they told me I was automatically entered each time I made an online purchase or any purchase over $25 on my CC).  They told me "all" I had to do was pay for insurance of the "package" they were going to send me containing my winnings as well as a 1% handling fee.  Over and over I told them it was a scam and over and over they told me it was legit and provided me with their call back # and website.  Total scam!  I told them they needed to look up the top 5 tip offs that something was a scam and they were meeting all of them - two big ones being 1) I NEVER entered any contest and 2) they wanted me to PAY them to get my "winnings". Names they used for themselves: William Johnson, Stanley Michael, Audrey Stevenson and I never got the other person's name.  But clearly they are fake - one guy sounded to be middle eastern and another was Russian and the third was Jamaican.  Not sure where the woman was from....... I feel sorry for those who are vicitmized by this.  If these people are calling me and have gone to these lengths to make themselves look legit, they must be at least somewhat successful.  Beware!

also recieved a call from 702-330-9781 that i had won 750k and all i needed to do was send 450thru wesern union and the check would be recieved they are very antimated that it wasnt a scam even told me that they were registered thru the bbb his name greg christie and his physical address was 7088 (something)venture dr las vegas nv 89247(which is saudi arabia)zip and yes he definetly had a middle eastern accent
also since 7/19 have been recieving call from a cell phone jamaica 876 area code i have about 12 # that they have tried to use
and it was the same guy he just talked slower to attempt to hide that fact but i liked the jamaica winnings it was 2.5mil and a bmw

My Dad got a phone call from this number, and the guy (Howard Hunter), told him he won 2.5 million dollars.That he worked for the US Customs Dept.and gave a whole speak on winning and the order on how to get your check. In order to deliver the ck...which the guy is in your area waiting, all you need to do is go to Walmart or Walgreen's and get Two (2) Green Dot Cards with $550.00 on each one to cover the costs of delivery of your check. Once you have the cards, call them back and give them the 14 number code on the back and the check will be delivered to your door. He called over 10 times before noon.....pushing my Dad to go get them.Another guy called (Greg Christie) and informed me he was going to cancel the check if my Dad didn't hurry up....My Dad said ok, cancel it...and don't call me again. They/He (I think were one person) called another three or four times. I quit answering the phone, had messages on my machine. I finally called him on it and told him my Dad was not going to give you any money for a check to be delivered, and i know this is a scam. I hung up on him. Needless to say, i called the Police and reported it. Well it didn't stop there....he called the house another 6 times, I finally answered it and he got very nasty with me and said things that were way over the line....i asked him how can you sleep at night knowing you scam old people and people in general out of their money/pensions...and put them on the streets...no wheres to live. He called another 16 times. I called the Police back, had them call out and they called them...what a chat he had. Got hung up two times. Then my phone rang and it was them...he called to threaten us...only to have the phone answered by the cop....not a nice conversation. It was ugly. Calls have stopped now...can't believe this day. Beware!!! of this number and others....with a story to good to be true.

Got a call from this # yesterday that I had won $5Million & new Mercades. After listening to a bunch of questions and giving false info I told them that all they had to do was put the check in the car and deliver same to my house, they hung up. Well today they call my wife that she had won the N.J. lottery, even though she had never bought a ticket. After giving them false info again, they wanted her to go to WalMart, Walgreens, or CVS and get 2 green dot cards (4.95 ea) and put $1000.00 on them and then call 702-330-9781 and ask for Howard Hunter and give them the #'s off the backs and they would send her the check for $3.5Million. She would not give them her SS # and they got real nasty and hugh up. We notified our local cops who are going to work on it (Lots Of Luck) and also put an article in the local paper alerting the public. THIS IS A SCAM.

I'm a Realtor and the caller claimed they could refer / send  me clients.... It is a scam !!! Beware!!!!
