being an actor i'm not sure if legit.
can u let me know your findings

Received a call from this number this morning, as well. I called back and they knew who had called immediately. They say they're a talent agency and that my information was 'forwarded from one of their affiliates'. When I asked if that meant that a social media site like Facebook had sold my personal information to them they could only confirm.

That was the end of the conversation.

I rec'd a call this morning from them 2/7-I could not understand the person that called at all. I called back and got this young lady who explained that they were some sort of a casting house working with other casting directors etc..I am very leery of this sort of thing and told them I was not interested and please delete my name from whatever list they had me on.

I got the same call today 2/7. I couldn't understand a word of what the lady was say on my voicemail and I'm pretty irked that somehow my phone number and information has been sold to these people by someone. I did extra work...but that was like 5 years ago!

I got a call from this number today, February 8th, and the lady on the line acted as if she knew me the way she said hello. I couldn't hear what she was saying and the phone cut off. I called back a few minutes later and got a voice message that said that my number had been noted and that I would get a call back later. There was no name for the company in this said message. Not legit...I will give them a piece of my mind when they call back. ;)

same thing -- two days in a row and can't understand the woman at all.

Phone rang twice, I ignored, no message left. Then I came to this site to find out the details. After reading everyone's responses I decided to program the number in my contacts and then selected the option to send calls from this number directly to voice mail.

Same here. Just got a call from a "talent scout / agency" for "modeling / acting opportunities". His English was so bad we couldn't have a conversation.

They already had all my information somehow and were calling to confirm it for my profile...scary. Said they got it from an affiliate. The only site who ever had that email address was facebook. When I asked who was the affiliate they said Las Vegas. Goodbye, blacklisted that number.

Just got a call from this number girl couldn't pronounce my name correctly.  Told her I wasn't into dancing modeling or acting.  In very bad English she asked "may i ask why". Told her it wasn't my thing.  She began an attempt to probe deeper with questions then abruptly said oh ok thank you for your time and hung up...I'm sure it a same of some sort.  Way too much back ground noise...sounds like a large call center.

My friend got a call from this lady asking for me and told my friend to let me know that this agency needs to contact me for modeling... I don't know how this lady have my friend #... It's so weird !!!

Saw the # come up on caller ID, didn't answer and no message was left.  I'm 60 years old, my home phone number is unlisted and unpublished and cannot be found online (i.e. whitepages.com etc.) I do not have a facebook page so the info is not coming from FB.  I'm guessing this is some kind of bill collector estabishing that the phone number belongs to someone they are looking for and in another couple of weeks you will start getting calls from a collection agency.  Just a thought!

I got a call from these people and they never stated their company name. The lady on the phone was very unorganized on the call. I couldn't really understand her but managed to make out the words talent agency, Grey's Anatomy, and Desperate Housewives. I told I never requested any information from them. When I decided to get to the bottom of this, she abruptly said bye and hung up. Anyway, I think my number was picked up because I have been inquiring about jobs.

Had a call from them and thought it was highly odd and most definitely creepy! How in the world did they get anyone's number when mine isn't even listed on my Facebook or any phonebook?!

Just got a call from this number.  Did not answer since I didn't recognize - no message on my voicemail. I always ignore unknown numbers and from reading the reports I'm glad I did.

Do Yall have a Facebook? Read somewhere fb is seThis lling our info out to third party advertisers.. any turth to this rumor?

My advice answer the call then ask to be removed. Yeah at first you have a lot of Interuptions but after a couple days the calls are almost gone.

I simply asked her to remove my name.
No more problems.

Got another call this morning and again did not answer because of the reviews I've read- it's the second time in 3 days.

I have received 7 calls in the last 3 days from this place.  Asked each time to take me off of their list, but agent hangs up on you.  Called back and told them that I would contact police if this harrassment continued.

They are calling, please threaten FCC violations for every call, especially if you are on the national do not call registry.

The Do Not Call Registry has a place to report people. I suggest you first verify your registration with them...it is easy and they send a simple email stating if you are, and if so, since when.  Then file a report.

I've received 3 more calls today - will not answer them. Only one left a voice mail telling me it was urgent that I take advantage of an opportunity and to call them back.
