    received text message from this number about 1500. loan, I did not ask for anything like this, especially on my cell phone.  It is just crap that the telemarketers can  now use cell phones and you have no way of stopping them.

    Some cell providers don't offer blocking or they charge extra for it.

    One thing you can do, you can down-load a no-ring ring tone, then assign that ring to the pest's phone number.  That way his calls won't interrupt you.
