Very annoying call during dinner and we are on the do not call list!

I received three calls from these people.  Didn't answer the first two then decided to see who it was.  They said they were a survey company, asked me if I was over 18 years of age and a registered voter, thanked me and hung up.  What??

called my grandmother's phone number asking for me (pronounced my name wrong so of course she knew it wasn't someone who knows me)...wouldn't leave a message...no idea what they wanted

I received one call around dinner time. The phone is registered in Las Vegas, Nevada. Could just be a political polling company but I think we get enough politics on TV, the radio, in the mail etc.etc....I hate election years!

This number has been calling every day this week, and when I answer, there is no one on the line...very annoying.  It shows up as a Las Vegas phone number.  Today, they called again (like everyone else...during prime time dinner time) and this time a man asked for my husband and he did not even pronounce his name correctly.  When I asked why he wanted to speak with my husband and what company he was calling with, he refused to answer me.  He asked me 3 more times if my husband was home, and I told him he needed to answer my question first because he was the one calling me!!  My husband travels for his job, and no way on Earth am I going to tell a complete stranger on the phone whom refuses to identify himself that my husband is not here and I am home alone.  I asked him several times to please tell me what company he was calling with, and he ended up just hanging up on me.  We are on the Do Not Call List, also, but obviously, they do not care, or they don't think it applies to them and refuse to follow the law.  It's extremely annoying and they have been calling every day this week and yesterday they called 4 times!!

Had several "missed calls" messages on the caller ID from this number.  I picked it up today and it is some outfit claiming to be doing a political poll.  You could hear the call center babble in the background.  I am on the Do Not Call list and I don't know why these types of calls are supposedly exempt from having to adhere to the Do Not Call guidelines.  Political related calls are just as much sales calls as "real" sales calls.  It is a waste of my time and I don't feel like discussing my voting tendencies with some idiot on the phone just because I won the auto-dial lottery.

Just received a call from this number. I don't answer blocked ID calls. They left no vc mail.

this number called my cell phone, do not leave message, and i did not answer.

Asked for a manager.  Angela Green said she was a manager w National Research.  Do Not Call list doesn't apply to them b/c they are doing research, not sale was her poor excuse.  Btw, Angela of course refused to give me her home phone number so I could call her around dinner time.  She then hung up on me.

received call, didn't answer, then I called them back.  no answer, phone rang and rang.

Just like everyone else, did not answer but traced it to Las Vegas. I was just there a week ago but never gave my actual home number because it's private so I was a little puzzled how they got my number.

There are no "private" numbers because a robotic dialer can be programmed to call every number.

I just received a call from this 702-430-3191, caller i d showed Las Vegas, asking for my husband,by his name ...she acted like she knew him.I asked whom or what she was calling for......she said it's a national research.I told  her there was no one by that name hoping they won't keep bothering..Of course the calls are always at dinner time.....what a pain!Because we have family in Vegas I answered...otherwise  we blow them the whistle!!

This number calls daily. I let it ring. Yesterday it logged in 7 times on Missed Calls, so at 8PM PST I picked up and the guy asked for my son.  It is a survey company.  I was not polite. Hung up on him. [***].

It's best just to pick up the call and tell them they have the wrong number or they'll keep calling every two hours.

Revieved call from this number 702-430-3191 twice. The first time I just let it ring. That was early evening. The second time it around 9 pm. I'm playing cards with my daughter. I decided to pick up and just heard a fast busy signal and then "call failed" appeared on my screen.

They called my cell phone and asked for me by name. It was a political survey about the upcoming presidential election and took about 15 minutes to get through all their questions. They said the polling company name at the beginning but I can't recall what it was.
