Have called me numerous times the past week and a half.  I answered once and said "Hello."  A lady said "Hello" back and I said "Who is this?" And the she hung up.  I tried calling the number back twice: the first time it was bust, the second time it said the number was disconnected/no longer in service.

They called me again today and when I said Hello, a man said he was calling from Maguire....I demanded that he not call me again and hung up.  Out of curiosity, I tried calling the same number about 2 minutes later, and of course, it said "number disconnected."  Too fishy...don't trust anyone from this number!!

Nevada Call / or McGuire  702 430 6711 has called us numerous ? A t least 8 times over the last three days and when we answered there was no one there.Some calls ten minutes apart.
Returning the call immediately gave a: "Number no longer in service" recorded message.
Who knows.... Some sort of scam?
FIND THEM AND KILL THEM?

This number just called and when I answered they hung up.  So I googled 7024306711 and it brought me here.  So I tried calling the number back and got 'this is not a working number' message.  What if it were a band of thieves calling to see if anyone is home just prior to breaking and entering?  What if it is a group of hackers who, once you've opened the telephone hardline, use some sort of program to keep it open and hack through your modem?  What if it is the research minions for the Beast calling to do some heavy-breathing on your line, only to realize they do not exist either in this dimension or on this spiritual plane and end up just breathing to themselves?  What if these people are just very large, over-ripe bags of douche?

In the last week they have called 6 times......And still calling. Have they stopped calling anyone?

Yep, just called me about 5 min ago. I'm not calling them, but right after I got an Idaho number shortly after. I'm not sure if they're related, but I received the first for sure.

Update on the last post... the Idaho number is for a senator campaign.

They say they are MacGuire Research calling to survey local voters about local issues.  They have called 5 times in 3 hours.  If you try to tell them not to call they hang up on you.  I tried to call them back and got a recorded message that the number didn't work.

Didn't recognize the number (just indicated Nevada call) so didn't answer phone.  They hung up before answering machine picked up.

Just received a call from this number to my landline. It was a heavy breather, who also lightly cleared his throat a couple times. I said "Hello? Is anyone there?" Eventually, they hung up. I have never been tempted to post on one of these before, but that was creepy! So far as I can tell, this was the first time they called.

This is really weird because they've called about 3 times a day for about 3 months.  The caller ID on my phone says "Gilmore Research". Hmm FISHY right?!!!

I got a call from that number again so I decided to finally pick up the phone and answer.  I said "Hello?"  There was no answer and all I could hear were 2 women hysterically laughing in the background.  Then I said "Hello!?" again.  About 3 seconds later I heard a man say "Hello? Is (insert name here) there?" and I said "No, no one here has that name."  and then he said "Oh okay sorry..."  and he hung up.

Sounds like a dirty scam or something extremely fishy to me.......

did some searching on this "MCGUIRE RESEARCH" on Google. Looks like they've been doing these scam phone calls back from 2008 also using the phone number 702-932-3401.

They're based out in Las Vegas, Nevada and have a habit of calling people, waiting until the other person answers, and then hanging up. They also know your first name and your address.  Bunch of identity thieves I believe.

Do not ever call any of my phone numbers.  The FCC has been notified with my account number to investigate prosecution for this number.

I got called by the number 1-702-430-6711 asking for me. They then hung up instantly. Caller ID picked them up as MCGUIRE RECEARC I'm assuming the last H is a given, so I looked up Mcguire Research online and found this: http://www.mcguire-research.com/ .
Could they be at all related? I think it highly likely.

Called and asked for homeowner by name.  I asked who it was and the guy said McGuire Research and they were conducting a political survey.  They wanted to know when they could call back.
