I got an email, they told me to contact it because there was a chance i could be on two hit t.v. shows. So i called the number, but all it said was that it had reached out of service? Or something along the lines, either i live too far away or they caught the guy.

I also got an email from that place, it says:

Casting Director is seeking Kids & Teens for 2 NEW Major Network TV Shows - Big name Teen Actors are already booked!!!  Call us to join them on set!

Must have lots of personality and character - Ages 8 to 18 only

I keep getting a text message from them. I called and told me to "hold for the next available operator". Called Explore Talent. They do model and talent searches. I had them remove my number.

Beware of modeling, scouting-for-talent, casting-call scams http://www.crimes-of-persuasion.com/Crimes/Delivered/modeling.htm that want you to pay $$$ up front for services like photo shoots, etc.  It's may be difficult to get your money back from fee-for-service scams because you did receive a service for a fee (if you did) and it'll be your word against theirs on whatever other verbal promises they made but which aren't on the contract. The only good defense is to only deal with reputable established agencies and not a stranger who contacts you.

Actually, I called the number and it led you to Explore Talent and they signed you up for a website and you have to pay and then they give you the casting numbers and you get a talent adviser that tell you what to do.

they emailed me as well and said they will pay me 5000 to posed naked they do not know i could be ugly but they still wanted me i went and it was a horse place i called to complain and try to get my 200 back and they said they were in turkey i live in NYC that is not ok i reported them and they are in the prossess of shutting them down.hopefully this will stop happining to u all !

I got this message too regarding another opportunity.  I had replied to some auditions just a couple of days ago on Explore talent.  It is a website where all kinds of talent and talent seekers can post jobs.

Stating:

me too got that this morning called and said that i needed to register I already have the free profile on their website but im not sure if i should pay the 70$ to register and go to this event.

No this is not real. I received the same thing. I have an explore talent account but I refuse to pay for the account. After making it I felt like it was a scam. But anyway I called the number and they wanted me to pay for my account so that I can be submitted to it. THIS IS A SCAM!

to the person before me, i'm on explore talent's website and have my account for free, i got a call from them to about edgy-hip but NOT from this number, scam ?

Yeah i got a text from this number and im just a teen so i didnt know what to do. ?? i just would like to know if its real or a scam,can someone please tell me?
