- KenSaid they were the Nevada Gaming comission and I had won a sweepstakes from American Publishing Chearing House. The number they gave to call (866-978-6004) is flagged as scam.

- Bev -Got a message from " Agent Peter Thomas" stated "Las Vegas Gaming Commission" and left message to return the call asap - it was important. I did call back ( i was recently i'n Vegas. ). An answering machine that did not identify the business stating " please leave a message at the tone " was all i heard. I did not leave any message and now that i see this number here - i realize must be a scam. Cops should act on this and arrest these idiots.

- SamSeems like a scam or phishing call. They left a message saying it is from Las Vegas Gaming Comission, but I have not been there in the last 8+ years. Just out of curiosity, called the number 702-487-3759 after turning off my caller ID, and even though I was calling during daytime (3pm PST), there was no answer, nor was there any answering machine or voice mail system, which is extremely odd for a business operation, which leads me to believe that this is NOT a legitimate business.
- TThis is a scam! They called and stated my husband had won 495,000.00 back in 2012 from publisher's clearing house. When my husband picked up to speak with them the guy hung up. Don't give these people any info! The person could barely speak English so it was difficult to understand exactly what he was saying, but it was very clear he is up to no good.
- AnonymousWe just received the same call. A "Peter Thomas with the Las Vegas Gaming Commission" left a message at 10:30 am, PST. He said it was important to call back. Knowing that the person he was looking for hadn't been to Vegas in years, plus, Peter Thomas' Jamaican-ish accent, I decided to Google the number he left and it brought me here. I also searched for the LV Gaming Commission...that's not even what they call themselves. Of course this is a scam. Please let your friends know.
