"This is the second notice that the warranty on your vehicle may be expiring. This is the last notice you will receive. If you would like to find out how you can extend this valuable protection, press 2. To be removed from out list, press 1."
Here's my contribution. Went to their web address, set up an 'account' and then was given the option to call them to complete the trx. Called the number, a 'warantee advisor' answered, and I continued to set up the 'extended warranty' on my 'car'. Gave him juicy-sounding info, using enough legit info that his little 'checks' would pan out. He's waiting for me to call him back with my vin number.
His direct line phone number is: 1 800 376 5688 ext. 1624
I don't have a good imagination. Perhaps someone else can take it from there. MY 'NAME' was mrs. FRANK PINNAHUAH. From Monticello, ME 04760 the car is a 1996 Volvo 850glt. If anyone can have fun with it please do.
I now have THEM on the run !!!!!!!!!!!!! I played along with them and told them my phone battery may die. As soon as I got to "Can I use My Credit Card for This" ...I promptly hit the hangup button. THEN THEY CALLED ME RIGHT BACK on 800 376 5688 !!! These are the SAME PEOPLE calling me 3 times a day for 5 months!!!!!
Same thing on my cell, daily for weeks. I waited out the message and pressed whatever to speak to somebody in sales and asked the company name and their telephone number, the moron gave it to me.
When you ask to be removed they transfer you to a recording telling you go to go to the do not call site, and they will continue to call for 31 days. If you call back all you get is the recording to enter your number to be removed, that doesn't work.
I've also received calls from them from 702 520 1338 as well as 818-870-8119
The 800 number to reach them (though those people are very rude as soon as you tell them you want off their list) is 800-983-1780
They answer that number (it's a real person) under a variety of names.
these people suck, they won't talk to you unless you giv them your info for a sale. After many times calling and getting hung up on, i finally decided to ask how to apply for the company, then i got their address: AUTOMOTIVE WARRANTY 6501 CONGRESS AVE BOCA RATON, FL 800-893-1780
This is the first time I've seen this site (800notes).
I am so grateful that you people have had the brains to follow through and get the dope on these M.F. bastards. They are garbage, and they are another of the hordes of lowlives that are sucking off our very quality of life. I too am going to jump on the 'harrass-them-back' bandwagon, and will be as relentless as their worst nitemares. THANK YOU FOR DOING THE HARD PART FOR ME. = jennifer
the 1-800-983-1780 is the number they can be reached at. as well they love it when they recieve repeated phone calls harrasing them as well. all these people are rude and have a dead end job so if you are free for a few mins do what i do and call and harrass them by asking them if they want to purchase a warranty.
I got pretty much the same as what people got above. The warranty on my car is "about to expire", and I should act quickly to avoid driving my car sans warranty,
This place is really beginning to piss me off. First they called me numerous times a day from a Cali number. Now it's from a Nev. number. Wish there was a physical presence I could kick the s**t out of close to my home. Obviously being asked to be removed from their list does no good, as I've done that numerous times.
I also believe that auto dealerships are complicit in this warranty scam, divulging vehicle purchase records.
