These guys are a extended car warranty outfit. When you ask to be taken off the list they immediately hang up. If you call back to the number no one answers. There is a really bad recording stating to press one if you don't want to be called but that doesn't work either.
"2nd notice expiry on auto warranty". Also use 702-520-1425, 702-520-1466, 702-520-1471, 702-520-1460, 702-520-1409 (that I'm aware of so far) Reverse lookup showed these numbers were serviced by DigiCom Services in Las vegas, Nevada. Phoned DigiCom. They are aware of this and have notified local authorities. Digicom's regular number is 310-358-7000 or 800-464-5446. Digicom have set up a special number 1-800-461-6675 to handle this. Call the special number and give them your phone number(s) and they will block it from their end.
They called me and gave me the routine about my warranty having expired. They then asked me for the make and model of my car, you'd think they would know it... When I asked them if they were Acura they hung up the phone. I hate scammers.
Received 2 to 3 calls everday for about a week. From 702-520-1460, 1457, 1467, 1436, 1465, 1426, 1339, 1379. Outrageous ! I hope the management and executives of compaines like this loose all their personal wealth. They inconvenience hundreds if not thousands of people in their attempt to increase profits.
Come to think of it, the only connection between my phone number and an auto service warranty I can think of is through my BMW dealership. Specifically through a service called BMW Assist. I am going to call BMW NA and ask some questions.
Interesting connection Sean. I drive a Mini so assitance is technically through BMW I wonder if somehow this scammer company has gotten their hands on this list somehow.
Well, I'm 16 and I've never posted my cell number anywhere and they keep calling from things like unknown or restricted. This is the first time they're number actually showed up. (nor do i own or have ever bought a car...?)
I own a ML 320. They probably got my number from the dealership here in Virginia Beach.
It's particularly upsetting to me, as I run an inside sales team that makes a point of only calling those who want information. The notion of someone calling up blindly with some scam makes my blood boil. Plus, they are so rude. I've gotten several calls from them on my cell.
call unknow but I readed the stories about auto warranty expired! Do not know where it come from maybe old records had auto bumper to bumper warranty confict credit denied auto loan that happened in 2003!
I've gotten numerous calls from these people. I just called the special number for Digicom. They were really nice and assured me my number would be taken off the list.
