I missed a call from the above mentioned number 702-520-1478. I called the number back.It was a hard to hear message stating if you no longer want to have your number on our list press 1.
Called at 6:19 PM New York time, 6/19/08. They said they are Direct Warranty Services, St. Louis Missouri. Asked for make, model and year of my car. Did not know my name or what car I drove. They used an older type of autodialer which said "your wait time is 30 secods" until I reached a female operator. When asked for their street address she said "I am not able to give out that information."
I have been receiving calls originating from 702-520-1478 on my cellphone every 2 to 3 days. When I call back, the line is either busy or they put on wait. Who is this guy or company. It's very upsetting. This must stop now...
I swear I am going to nuke these people if I ever find them. Some credit card company out there had to have sold my number to them because I have a cell phone number for credit card/billing type things and a second cell phone for friends. Calls every to every other day for months. JERKS.
I get numerous calls from this number. All my vehicles are paid for in full. If I needed some kind of warranty I would call and get it. Why have a warranty when your insurance company can give you anything up under a policy?????

I am getting calls from (702) 520-1478, but mine are prerecorded messages from the car warranty people. They have the same voice and same message; they use the following phone numbers: (918) 468-2338, (702) 520-1478, (304) 324-8040, (215) 542-4930, (612) 307-5885, (702) 520-1465 and (217-341-3591. They call work, home and cell numbers. They are not just targeting me, they are also calling family, co-workers, etc. I believe these people are using some sort of autodialer. When they call my cell, I answer and then hang up. This way it appears to be a dropped call and does not count towards my minutes. Also they are unable to leave a voicemail on my phone any more.
I got the car warranty for a while. Now they want to give me a $200 gift card. All I need to do is give them my credit card number and expiration date. Yep...like I'm going to do that. I kept the guy online for at least 1/2 hour hopefully wasting HIS time. Finally I started to scream "No more calls!" into the phone and continued this for a good minute. Did that help...NO! Unbelievable!! He just went right back into his routine. I've asked them numerous times to take me off their list. Do they think they'll wear me down and I'll give them my credit card number??? I've had it and will be reporting them to my state attorney general.
I got a call from this number telling me that I was one of 25 people selected to receive a $200 WALMART gift crad. They prceeded to ask me for my credit card for a $3.95 Processing fee.
This is completely a scam! Someone please check them out. I think they said they were Discover Enterprises (or something like that).
I also receives calls from this company trying to send me a walmart gift card and gas vouchers. But they make you pay shipping and handling. Never can understand the person talking. This is a scam.
