I -think- he was a robocall (or just a man that sounded very robotic :)) talking about my credit card interest rate. Nonokthxbai.

I have callerID on my business line and don't answer numbers I don't recognize or IDs that aren't persons' names.  The ID on this one was just the phone number, and so I didn't answer.
Thank god for caller ID and websites like this one to confirm my good judgement....

robo call credit card scam. Blacklisted

Robocall 2013 Oct 14 Mon 917 AM. Was from a Visa/MC provider called "American Bank Card". I hung up.

Robocaller merchant services provider scam. The hilariously spelled caller ID of BUISNESS SVCS at least made me laugh. This number must belong to the same telemarketing mill that called using 702-520-5279 with an SEO scam.

Same garbage, its a telemarketer for credit card, just add this number to the do not call list

The  call, once again, was from a cell phone in Nevada. I didn't pick up and there was no message left.

Showed up from NV but answered anyway.  Robocall:  "Hi, this is John Daniels..."  Click.  I had no sooner hung up as it called right back and the robocall was still in progress. Hung up again. Annoying.

Robo call. Waited for the person to come on the line.  I asked is this legal.    The lady said of course it is.  We have been in business for years.  If any of this was illegal, they would have shut us down.  I said, well quit calling me.  Stop all future calls please.  She said then don't answer the phone.  I said really, and hung up.

Yes it is illegal period. New laws went into effect the 16th.  However, telemarketers are supposed to obey the DNC regardless..

yes the good old john daniels recording that they would give $500 if they could not beat our best rate on credit card processing. btw, you do all know that the DNC list is only for residents, right?

Got a call from this number this morning.  Did not answer but got amused that the name that came up on caller ID was misspelled to read "BUISNESS SVCS". Just how stupid are these people?

And you are right, Kathy. The DNC is only for residential numbers, not business phones.
