call 24 January 2012 no message left

Got a call today from 7052-570-5279.....  Wasn't home, no message left.  Caller ID simply says, "Nevada".  Called it back to check it out, maybe see if they have an 'opt out' feature.  Instead I get "The number you are trying to reach is not in service."  Geez, My caller ID thought it was in service just a couple hours ago.......  Obviously some scam operation.

I got a call from 702-570-4579 today (01/25/2012) at 12:53pm. I called back and got a recording that says "The number you've reached is not in service. This is a recording."

Got a call from 702-570-4579 and my elderly mother picked up. Someone posing as elderly woman that lived next door a number of years ago named Mrs Jones needed exactly $18.75. At this point I picked up the line and they hung up. I am sure they were going to try and get a CC number. My mom would never have given them this but I have informed her not even answer these.

I was out this morning when a call from this number was made to my home. They left no message, and I did not try to call the number myself. I just came here to see if others received a call as well. I have had calls lately from all kinds of places wanting money, even calling themselves police whatever associations. I told them I am on the do not call list and they are not to call me...if I ever do pick the phone up. I am not picking up the phone from unknown numbers now and waiting to see if they leave a message.

Got a call at noon today.  No one answered.  They left no message.

HondaCare Customer Service - I had opened a case with Honda motors regarding an issue and the number originated from a case worker.  There number is (800) 999-1009

I just got a call from this number and I don't even own a Honda.

I don't own a Honda either and never owned/leased one either nor conducted business with them. Based on the testimonials of those who dialed back and were told that the number is not in service leaves me the instinct to not trust anything they do say ihey ever call me again. What kind of business requires hidden identity or tapping into the disguise of a phone line which is no longer in service? I'm reporting the call to the DoNotCall Registry's website complaint page and you should too (if you're registered). The website is http://www.DoNotCall.gov   Don't put up with nonsense and maybe the FCC can track down a scam artist when enough compaints come in and prevent people like yourselves from being victimized by fraudulent businesses.

this seems to be a call center...my call was for NOW new York chapter...i asked why they were calling from las vegas for NYNOW n they said they werent in vegas. idk i always give to NOW wen they call. i will investigate wen my pledge comes in the mail.

Another call from this number, pretending to be a relative. I pretended not to be home and asked to take a message, they hung up.

They call when we aren't home.  Don't leave message but we get the phone tone and the message, "If you'd like to make a call...." as if the line was left open.  Twice very recently.

Received multiple phone calls from this number mid-afternoon at the office on our main line. Each time I picked up I was greeted with the oh-so-delightful screeching of a fax machine.

Delightful!

Calls did cease after I hung up for the 5th or 6th time in less than an hour.

Wish they wouldn't pick up my # after I give to a couple charities.

Called my house at 18:40 Sunday March 25, 2012.  First call said unavailable then the second call said Nevada.  Did not answer and they did not leave a message

I just received 2 calls in a row.Once was this number and the other was the same except it was 4580.I did not know the number so I didn't answer it.It sounded like a fax machine both times.

I think it's a survey call.  They asked for "any adult that is registered to vote".  I told them to put our number on their DNC list and the chick acted like an idiot..."ummm what number?!"  Really? The one you just dialed.  I hung up on them.

the following number calls me and says nothing.
