Very unprofessional. I hung up on him.
Not Verizon at all tring to sell me other phone services.

Person asked for the "person in charge of our COX account". Did not immediately identify himself as Verizon sales person.

Very rude, and hung up on me when the party they asked for was not available.  Did not identify themselves.  A call to this number says something along the line of "the Winbeck office", but when dialing zero, you are not put through to a live person and are asked to leave your name and number.  Obviously a scam/sales pitch agent.

My number is on do not call, I have asked them to stop calling and I keep getting calls. I finally set their number in my address book so it just shows ignore as the caller.

I think this do not call registry is a bunch of crap provided to pacify us "regular" folks. It appears not to have any teeth to it or it wouldn't be so often abused.

We receive CONSTANT calls from or about Verizon since we stopped using them after many terrible experiences, but this call took the cake.

An incredibly rude man demanded to speak to the person in charge of our Verizon account. When I told him we do not have Verizon, he argued with me, raised his voice and claimed a third party provider was overcharging us for our phone service. But we don't even have a traditional or land-line telephone. We use voice over internet protocol now, which is much cheaper and works well (largely because Verizon was so BAD!) He became more enraged, insisting our lines were Verizon, so I handed the phone to my partner. My partner told him we do not have a traditional telephone, and then he was hung up on.

It seems this number and company is called Winback, and they may actually be part of Verizon. That is not the way to Win Back customers. It seems almost fraudulent.

This exact same thing just happened to me! He insisted that Time Warner Cable Digital Phone uses Verizon's phone lines. Started talking over me and then almost shouting. Hung up when I asked to be removed from the calling list. I wonder if it was the same man?

They call every day. When you ask to be removed from list they hang up. I guess that's what you get for $2.00 an hr...

Great company. The lady on the msg sounds like she recorded the message in the women's bathroom at the mall....
