I didn't find any info via Google about this phone number. Who is it?

I got a call from a Mr Chris Parker at this number from Credit Bureau Central with "an attempt to collect a debt."

Got a call from a woman at the same number ext 284??  I am also sure that I don't owe anybody right now.  It also just rang and rang when I tried to call back.

Same deal as above.  I got a call from a John Snow at Credit Bureau Central saying they wanted to collect a debt.  They don't ask for anyone by name, which is more than a little suspicious to me.  I called back to extension 290 and got a voicemail recording.  

My credit is clean and I'm not outstanding on any debts.  Be careful how much information you give these guys and don't let them pressure you on anything.  If it's a legitimate collection agency, they have to notify you by mail that they are attempting to collect a debt.

I got a call today from same # with ext. 279, but being the cynical type, I did my research and thanks to these postings, I am wise to the call now.  I have not called back yet, but when I do, I'll be more cautious as to what information I provide.  When Jose called (I couldn't make out his last name) he did not mention the name of the company either.  When I quickly dialed to see if someone would identify themselves, I did not get that either.  Thanks to all of you who post here.  Good luck.
